i did not have suffisient time to move around in the city.
Consequently i am not able to give a appropiate description..
What I did not like was the fact that every night "poor" people would
empty out of the official garbage containers in downtown Armenia throwing the contents on the square where the local business is operating. It is true however that the squares and streets are cleaned daily meticulously .

A fantastic place near Armenia There is one huge reason to go to Armenia, the Quindio Botanical Gardens four kilometres from town. They are the best botanical gardens I have been to since Kandy in Sri Lanka 42 years ago. They are big with a fabulous butterfly house. You have to take a guided tour, but it last nearly 3 hours and my guide was fantastic. Maybe the best thing I have seen in Colombia in 7 weeks

Excellent taxi and buses service from and to the Hotel.
Excellent taxi and buses service from and to the Hotel. Very friendly people. Salento town pretty but busy and Corcoras valley second to none. I felt in the Parque Cafe I could have been in any theme park in Europe or USA.
Eat in the town centre in Salento. It’s a restaurant with a coffee sister company
I stayed twice at this hotel in the center of Armenia. I left my heavy suitcase there and just took my smaller backpack to travel around the coffee region. The staff were very friendly and kind. They helped carry my stuff up and down all the steps, offered me a little cup of coffee at the reception, helped me order food to be delivered., and phoned for a taxi. The price was very reasonable. The room was fine and the TV got Netflix, a very nice bonus. The bed was pretty comfortable. There was a small sofa where I could put my luggage.
The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The hosts are very nice, as well as all the other staff on the premises and the communication was easy. The breakfast included is not a buffet but was nonetheless nice and good to start the day off. The premises are clean, and the rooms get cleaned every day. Thanks very much to the hosts for our beautiful stay!
The setting of the hotel is beautiful. Deep in nature, a very well kept traditional coffee finca house. The pool and wet zones were clean (sauna wasn't working but it wasn't a big deal for us). Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel has an LGBT theme (the rooms are all named after LGBT figures/activists), which was a very pleasant surprise.
Breakfast was great - kitchen staff were friendly as well. Bryan was exceptionally friendly and Leidi was helpful as well. Janeth could improve on her service. Make sure to ask the hotel staff for the driver Victor for any trips within the city or to neighbouring towns - extremely honest and friendly driver, 100% recommend!!
The property used to be so beautiful, now the walls need to be painted, the jacuzzi Jets were dirty and the whole spa area was deteriorated.
I was at this hotel a few years ago and it was in amazing condition, that’s why I decided to go back but I was very disappointed!
the bed is very big and comfortable, the swimming pool has a nice view, the hotel style is cozy, the included breakfast is plenty and good. In addition, the personal was very kind and cooperative when we want to change the dates of our reservation and the room.
I had to find a room last minute because my airbnb fell through. Found Hotel Cafe Color online . I was going to stay here for 1 or 2 nights but decided to stay several days. Great location, friendly staff clean rooms and quiet. I'll definitely stay again!
The hotel is located in a very quiet area. Customer service is exceptional, thank you Valentina, Luz Ceneida and Alexander for making us feel so comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was very good and the hotel is very well maintained and very cozy.
The breakfast was basic I could get whatever I liked. Quality of the good was very good. The person at the frontdesk was very friendly. the personal of the hotel were all female .I particularly liked the eco friendlyness,Very conciously applied.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Location of the hotel is great next to the Parque de la Vida, deco in common areas is very stylish. Deco in room is basic but modern. Bed (twin room) was small but confortable.
Fantastic location! Old hotel had been newly renovated under new management. Clean and comfortable space. Rooms had a small stand fan and hairdryer! Common fridge was provided outside the room too..
Everything was excelent , the breakfast was delicious and typical from the area.
We wish to have more time to spend in the hotel, definitely we are coming back soon.
The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time at the Eje Cafetero.
