The hotel was very friendly and parking was very easy. Our balcony had a marvellous view of Lake Constance. It was short walk downhill to the lakefront, with various acxtivities in the marina area (including a curry wurst stand).
We ate in the restaurant at the hotel, and the food was just fine.
The breakfast selection was reasonable for the area. (no fried eggs though!)

Everything was excellent from start to finish: very friendly staff through the hotel, very nice, spacious and well appointed room (if you can, get a junior suite with lake view), dinner at the restaurant was also very good (nice variety of choices and good wine list, nice views of the lake from almost all tables) and so was the breakfast (wide selection).

Location and lake secenery is spectacular. When arriving to hotel is very clear that castle is real and not one of those artificial places that looks only good in photos. Hotel staff is very friendly. Great place to do hiking around the area. When driving to hotel, I recommend to take longer route that arrives to hotel from the top of the hill.
The magnificent view of the lake on the ground floor room with terrace and table/chairs. The terrace between the rooms are divided with live trees for privacy.
Breakfast was perfect even of the Covid-19 precations and limitations .

The view from the restaurant outdoor was stunning! We saw hawks, cows, boats on the lake, beautiful thunder etc. The vibe was serene and positive. The server/hotel manager was great, the wine was good and we would visit again.
