Fantastic, huge loft. Pool is very nice, as is the lake access. Beds are good, kitchen modern and well stocked. Plenty of towels. A lot bigger than in the pictures actually!
The Hotel Acquarello is located in the Old Town of Lugano, right at the lower terminus of the funicular connecting the centre to the main railway station.
Very good location and splendid view on the lake. Easy to reach from and to by car or bus other towns. The room was nice and clean, great staff everywhere and especially at the restaurant, good food and we had also a nice gift for our daughter due to Easter (chocolate eggs). We came by car and the hotel has an inside garage which was a good option for us. Overall very well maintained hotel with attention to details and customer oriented. A plus was also a good internet connection (could take a business call easily)
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, with nothing we asked being too much trouble.
Our room was comfortable, however the highlight was the restaurant. Although our dinner was expensive, it was fantastic and eating on the terrace overlooking the lake made it all the more special.
The location at the lake is great. It is so nice to swim in the lake. In the garden there are sunbeds.
The nearby hotel provides great breakfast and diner.
It's a short drive to Lugano.
