We really loved staying at the B&B. Both hosts are incredibly nice and very passionate about hosting people from all around the world. The breakfast was great and the room clean and comfortable. Would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend booking this place!

Iona is near the centre of Cape Breton and is located where the "Big" lake meets the "small" lake, across the bridge from Grand Narrows. Travelling anywhere in the area provides beautiful, calm scenery and very friendly people. During normal (non-Covid) times, the nearby Iona village is a must visit. Walking distance.

We stayed for 2 nights and at the Iona Heights Inn. The rooms are a bit dated; bedding/ pillows could be freshened up too. We are not super picky people so these things did not take away from our stay. The pub served good food and had great atmosphere ( fantastic view!) and all staff at the Inn were super friendly . We felt we got good value for our money; would recommend it to others and would stay again.

Iona has beautiful scenery but is isolated. You have to plan ahead to take advantage of the water and then remember this is a big lake and can be too rough to take advantage due to the weather. Food choices are very limited.
