It was a safe location in a very remote city. The environment was not conducive to camping in our overland vehicle and it was great to be able to park the vehicle under a high secure roof and stay in a reliable hotel for a night while driving from Rio de Janeiro to Peru. The food in the restaurant was good quality and well presented.
The hotel is set at the perfect spot in town:
right next to the river and a short stroll from the “old” market.
It’s kept spotlessly clean and the staff are all wonderful!
Also the rooms are great and so is the swimming pool area on the first floor!
Breakfast is excellent as well.
