Disliked · Wi-fi is working only close to the front desk and lobby. We had a room at the end of the building and the wifi signal there was poor. We have requested the front desk for technical support but with zero effect. Also, visitors need to pay for some services which are usually included in the room price such as a key for a locker for storage of cash and documents. It is important because almost all stores and gift shop bakeries are accepting cash only. So, be ready to pay the extra fee to the declared price for the room. The official rate for a taxi ride in Obzor is three times higher than in Varna.

Not the most engaging resort.
Not the most engaging resort. Very few restaurants, many of those closed anyway, either not yet open for the season or gone out of business. Very clean streets, even the wheely bins have their own lock ups!! Geared up more I think for the all inclusive hotels, but there are many small hotels too.
The beach is long, sandy and the sea quite shallow, so should be safe for children. The North end is where the large hotels are, access to the roads from the beach is restricted by security.
One thing to avoid or perhaps more accurately one person, Ivan the taxi driver, doesn't know his way around, or if he does, he pretends not to, so he can drive around running up the bill. Avoid!!

I like the clean, airy beaches without music, the quiet, civilized people and the fact that Obzor seems to have stopped somewhere in time. Police patrol the streets, garbage is picked up every morning and people jog or go for a walk with their dogs. An atmosphere of general relaxation. You have a supermarket and small shops with fruits and tomatoes.

Obzor has really nice beach with the beautiful views. I do not like the design of the hotels as this is too much and too close to water line. This is the example of how bad management can destroy the beauty of nature. The only hotel I like is HDV the brand new hote.
Everything! The room was very clean and spacious (we actually got a family room, with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, instead of a studio, at the same price), the food was delicious, location was amazing, right on the beach, the pool was very clean and perfect for both the kids and adults, there were entertainment programs for kids, animators were very friendly, all the personnel in fact were always smiling and helpful. And the city itfelf is very cute, small but attractive for tourists.. We will defintely come back next yeat!
Excellent location, 300 m fron the beach and from shops, excellent staff, miss Maria and her father are the most friendly people in the world and always willing to help. The hotel and the rooms look as good in reality as they look in the pictures. The pool i think is a little bigger then you can tell from the pictures. The hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood. There s a big super market near by... my vacation at aritokrat hotel was everything i ever wanted. I am coming back here for sure :)
If you want to visit Obzor, you have to book here: This is the best place to stay! It's located right on the beach, it's clean, you have supermarkets and restaurants very close, you have to walk only 5 minutes until Obzor's center and the staff is very friendly! If you travel with family they have very big appartements available.
Also, the sea view rooms located at the 3rd floor have the best view in Obzor. You can see the sunrise from your bed! How cool is that?
It felt like a genuine home, made out of good quality materials, safe, quiet, simple and very esthetic.
It looked much better than all accommodations I stayed in Bulgaria.
After staying in many kitsch all inclusive hotels in that area, I was very pleased to find this guesthouse and I will come back for sure.
Modern complex, great design, I liked the unique feeling it offers. Diverse food and drinks offerings. Food was great. Service is excellent. Great pools, including the 2 kids pool. The hotel has great beach access. Bars serve also import drinks. We had a great stay. We are sure to come back in the future.
Good location, spacious rooms, food is quite good for an all-inclusive system. Looks like the Turkish chefs are doing a good job. The swimming pool is well maintained and there is a good beach too. The animation is ok and there are some shows in the evening (decent for a hotel stage).

A splendid hotel, in an isolated place with a private beach and many facilities included (ideal for families with children). Nice people, good food, on the beach (with its own sector), without games, just relax and enjoying sea and sand.
We had an apartment on the first floor, directly to the beach which was the best part of vacation. Comfortable to go to the beach with sunbeds and clean sand.
