Very friendly staff who did their best to accommodate me. Language barriers were easily overcome :) . Comfortable bed, extra blankets and comforters available. Very quiet (not counting the noisy AC/heat unit). Room was generously sized considering the category and had a balcony. The price was low as well.

The staff is polite and friendly. The room, hallways, bars, swimming pool deck area, and beach are pretty clean. Food in a restaurant is delicious and diverse. Non-alcohol and alcohol drinks are available in many locations.
Disliked · Wi-fi is working only close to the front desk and lobby. We had a room at the end of the building and the wifi signal there was poor. We have requested the front desk for technical support but with zero effect. Also, visitors need to pay for some services which are usually included in the room price such as a key for a locker for storage of cash and documents. It is important because almost all stores and gift shop bakeries are accepting cash only. So, be ready to pay the extra fee to the declared price for the room. The official rate for a taxi ride in Obzor is three times higher than in Varna.

Not the most engaging resort.
Not the most engaging resort. Very few restaurants, many of those closed anyway, either not yet open for the season or gone out of business. Very clean streets, even the wheely bins have their own lock ups!! Geared up more I think for the all inclusive hotels, but there are many small hotels too.
The beach is long, sandy and the sea quite shallow, so should be safe for children. The North end is where the large hotels are, access to the roads from the beach is restricted by security.
One thing to avoid or perhaps more accurately one person, Ivan the taxi driver, doesn't know his way around, or if he does, he pretends not to, so he can drive around running up the bill. Avoid!!

I like the clean, airy beaches without music, the quiet, civilized people and the fact that Obzor seems to have stopped somewhere in time. Police patrol the streets, garbage is picked up every morning and people jog or go for a walk with their dogs. An atmosphere of general relaxation. You have a supermarket and small shops with fruits and tomatoes.

Obzor has really nice beach with the beautiful views. I do not like the design of the hotels as this is too much and too close to water line. This is the example of how bad management can destroy the beauty of nature. The only hotel I like is HDV the brand new hote.
The location is great with direct access to the beach and at walking distance to the Obzor town center. The rooms are good size with comfy beds and decent size bathrooms. The pool is big and well kept. The food at all inclusive is good, the soft drinks are from Coca-Cola and the beer and wine are decent. I always found a free parking place during our stay, but I think I was lucky. The paid ones can be obtained from the hotel (10 leva), or at the stadium (8 leva) or at nearby parking also for 10 leva.
Its a family business and as it is the owner and his parents are doing a great job. Very nice and polite people, smiled and ready to assist. Very clean place. For some people the location could looks like a problem but actually its only 10 mins away from the beach and town centre, so when you compare the distance with the chance to relax on calm and quite place, its really worthy. A big THANKS to the owners, I wish you success in future and all the best
A quiet place, pretty far from the town, adjoining several apartment buildings for holiday purposes and part with a forest. There are no temptation for kids to spend your money. The resort has a private beach with sunbeds and parasols.
There are animators and shows mostly for kids every day from 8 pm to 10 pm.
I liked the idea that all inclusive mean Bulgarian alcohol and ultra all inclusive includes other products.

rooms were large enough and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. we had a nice balcony with a beach view.

The hotel had great location, you are very close to the beach 5 mins and 1 to the center, i recommend for families and for couples with dogs as they let dogs stay with you as well which i loved! Great staff and very kind. I enjoyed my stay and recommend for stay in Obzor. Breakfast can be bought for 13leva per person per day.
Very good location close to the city center 5 min walk but at the same time away from the crowds and the noise. Nice sea panorama view. The host was very friendly and assited us with all our requests. Try the restorant owned by the host, it is quite nice and its the place for dinner with the highest rating in the town.
I liked that the guest house was very close to the centre and the beach and that the hostess was responsive and kind all the time. This was one of the most affordable places in Obzor and I'm pretty satisfied with the value we received considering the 30-something leva per night.
