Good location - 5 mins walk to station, they gave us a complimentary upgrade for my mum’s birthday which was really kind, decent breakfast- although not halal which was disappointing as most hotels are these days. I like that the pool is indoor, perfect for a winter stay.

I liked the excellent hotel views food staff.
I liked the excellent hotel views food staff. I wouldn't visit Vivid on the long weekend again if there was a new attraction to see as the amount of people 0n Saturday 8th June was ridiculous first night of Drone show.
But I generally enjoy Sydney and Vivid when I do visit. love Sydney.
Love the Harbour and bridge and Opera House.

It was just a short stay, especially to see VIVID, which was fantastic. We included a night harbour cruise, an excellent way to see this beautiful harbour city. You can walk the harbour foreshore from Darling Harbour (Maritime Museum) right around past Barangaroo, The Rocks (historic area), Circular Quay, Opera House and the Botanic Gardens. Didn't have enough time to see Barangaroo, but will do that next time. We stayed at Haymarket, where there are loads of restaurants, cafes, bars. Light rail, buses and trains make it easy to get around, or you can walk if you are more energetic. Take a ferry from Circular Quay to the excellent Taronga Zoo. So many great things to do in Sydney

So many great food options to choose from. Ate lunch down at the Opera Bar on a lovely sunny day with views of the Harbour, great atmosphere.
The city came alive at night for the VIVID light show, was a really memorable weekend getaway.

We were in Sydney for the Vivid light festival and loved the experience. Also climbed the harbour bridge - a long held ambition. Our one recommendation would be to buy a SIM card for your phone when you arrive so you can use its mapping services - we didn’t and got hopelessly lost a couple of time amongst the narrow streets and laneways in the Rocks area especially. Lesson learned! 😝

The location of the hotel is a number one consideration for people who want to get to various attractions including famous eateries like the Sydney Fish Market. China Town, and shopping places including The Westfield Centre POint, Kinokuniya, Darling Harbour etc Other convenient public transport include buses and trains.
Easy location to reach, very clean, kitchenette has everything you need, staff are very helpful. Short walk to multiple coffee shops and cafes and there is a convenience store next door. Olympic Park area is great if you want to exercise, or go to the swimming pool. Room is quiet, although nearby construction noise on one side of the building does intrude if you open the balcony door. Balcony is small but pleasant with 2 chairs and a glass table. Room airconditioner worked well, and was not too aggressive like some other hotels.
Excellent location - very close to CBD for shopping, Opera house and Quay, Botanic Gardens and Gallery, and the other way loads of amazing restaurants around Darlinghurst and the Cross. Bed extremely comfortable. Surprised to have great view including harbour in the distance. Fixtures and fittings a little old and tired but all was exceptionally clean. Not a high-end hotel but perfectly fit the bill for us - mum and daughter in Sydney for the ballet, shopping, and nice dinners. I will stay there again.
The location is excellent. It's only 5 mins walk to the ferry terminals to get to Taronga Zoo or darling harbour, Lyric thatre or Luna park etc., and 10 mins walk to Opera house and restaurants surrounding the opera house. Our room was standard room but so spacious compared to other hotels nearby. We had quite active during our trip to go to so many places in Sydney but when we come back to room we had really comfortable time. Bed was comfy and we had no issues with it.
Location .. excellent close to hard and light rail
Right in the heart of the CBD retail shopping district theatres and cinemas
The hotels continental breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced
Their Ten Stories Restaurant has an excellent menu and well worth a reservation …
Our room was on the 13th floor and faced Pitt Street mall … never heard a sound
We liked everything about this hotel
This hotel is very close to the Sydney Airport domestic terminal and so it nice and convenient for travellers. The room itself was very spacious with a large bed, good desk fro working and fridge/microwave in the room. I stayed for six nights and could easily have stayed for longer. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Sydney for business or need a short stop over.
Parking efficient; check-in very professional; the room was very comfortable and bigger than most hotels. The combination of the heritage and the way it has been modernised makes it a pleasure to come “home” to. My fathers office was in the building when it was a government location in the 1960’s. We have stayed there before and we will be back.
Beautiful renovated hotel with modern rooms and excellent staff, felt like the old way of doing hotels where you were treated like a customer not a number. Walking distance to nearly anything you could want but 10-15min to CBD. Hotel has higher end restaurant in it which was great for wine/drinks at night and breakfast or dinner anytime.
We never stayed here. Booking was confirmed and they never replied to us about meeting us with a key. We tried all afternoon, once we arrived in Sydney and we even waited at the apartment with no contact from the number supplied for the booking. Leaving us having to find accommodation elsewhere at 10pm on a Friday night.
Hotel staff were absolutely amazing the rooms were fantastic I do have to point out I had a suite.
Hotel is in a fantastic location only 10 minutes from the harbour make sure you get a room high up with views of the clock tower one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Great value hotel close to the airport, perfect for late arrival into Sydney and early departure the next morning. Rooms was comfortable and clean. Also love the shuttle service (extra fee) to the airport - if you didn’t have bags it’s an easy 10 min walk to domestic but dragging suitcases it’s a pain.
What a great stay. The staff are generous, kind and really professional. We loved the cleanliness, the great breakfast. We've previously stayed in other 'corporate' hotels in the CBD, that were significantly dearer, and this hotel, although further from Central Sydney, was a lot better.
Perfect view of the sydney harbour bridge from our room on the 14th floor of the hotel. The train station is a minutes walk away and you can get to cbd in 2 stops. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in. The breakfast was great value for money.
Great hotel right on the manly beach front. I thought it would be loud on top of the restaurants and bars but it was surprisingly quiet. Very good breakfast included. Great location for trips into Sydney CBD as the ferry docks right beside the opera house.
Great buffet breakfast. Very close to Darling Harbour and a short walk to mid city centre. Convenient to other hotels and eateries. Staff very pleasant, our room was upgraded on request and staff lovely and polite.
Very convenient for early departures from Sydney International airport. Spacious, clean and well appointed rooms.
One of the few hotels at the airport that has a reasonable restaurant and stays open until 21:30
Great place at this price point, rooms are a little small, but that's not unusual for hotels in Sydney CBD. Clean, staff were very helpful. Great access to the center of Sydney, close to tram lines, etc.
The hotel was great and the location was perfect. Very close to the train and walking distance to CBD shopping, circular Quay and darling harbour. I felt very safe staying there with my teenage daughter.
Excellent location. Walkable to The Rocks, Opera House, CBD etc. Easy access from airport. Comfortable beds. awesome rooftop bar. Hotel gym was great. Would def stay here again next time we visit Sydney.
