The location was excellent in terms of a view of the harbour and surf, access to Shellharbour Village shops, cafes and coastal walks. The large north east facing windows made the most of the view and winter sun. The kitchen was well appointed and beds comfortable. Our dog loved it!

The staff were amazing and helpful. The breakfast staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating. The room was lovely and big. Love the 24 hour access. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel and staff.

This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

There is lots to do in Shellharbour.
There is lots to do in Shellharbour. The beaches are beautiful. A must visit is the Marina as there are restaurants and cafes and just lovely to walk around. Shellharbour Village also has cafes and restaurants and a variety of shops.

Beautiful place to visit. Lovely beach and Harbour. Nice wee coffee cafes on the main street. Everything you need is nearby. We have been there twice , once we relied on buses and the other time we had a rental car. Both times we managed fine.

Sellharbour village and shell cove are lovely.
Sellharbour village and shell cove are lovely. The recent ongoing development at Shell Cove Marina precinct is well planned and so accessible. Food options are varied and affordable!!
One can walk to Bass reserve and a its short drive to Killalea - both worth a wander!!

Ours was only an overnight stay to attend a gig at Unanderra that evening. We really didn’t have time to do any sightseeing but had a short walk, maybe 45 minutes around the streets surrounding the motel after a delicious lunch at the Lake View Hotel. We had to leave at 7.30 the next morning.
The location was great. A bit misleading regarding distance to Cafes, Restaurants and Hotel but all still within walking distance. The beaches were great; uncrowded, ocean temp superb and crystal-clear water.
Very relaxing, sitting out on the back deck.
Another plus was its close proximity to Kiama, a bustling tourist town.
All in all, really happy with the cottage, it's location and only a 3-hour drive from home.
The owners Derek & Ange were there to greet us and were the friendliest & most helpful people ever. Everything was first class, with little added comforts. I would totally recommend Shellharbour Haven.
