The location was excellent in terms of a view of the harbour and surf, access to Shellharbour Village shops, cafes and coastal walks. The large north east facing windows made the most of the view and winter sun. The kitchen was well appointed and beds comfortable. Our dog loved it!

It provides plenty of differing accommodation options, has a great range of shops, restaurants and lovely beaches, is easy to travel around, and is no more than 40 minutes drive from a great area of the NSW South Coast from Lake Illawarra to the Shoalhaven region. This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

There is lots to do in Shellharbour.
There is lots to do in Shellharbour. The beaches are beautiful. A must visit is the Marina as there are restaurants and cafes and just lovely to walk around. Shellharbour Village also has cafes and restaurants and a variety of shops.

Beautiful place to visit. Lovely beach and Harbour. Nice wee coffee cafes on the main street. Everything you need is nearby. We have been there twice , once we relied on buses and the other time we had a rental car. Both times we managed fine.

Sellharbour village and shell cove are lovely. The recent ongoing development at Shell Cove Marina precinct is well planned and so accessible. Food options are varied and affordable!!
One can walk to Bass reserve and a its short drive to Killalea - both worth a wander!!

Ours was only an overnight stay to attend a gig at Unanderra that evening. We really didn’t have time to do any sightseeing but had a short walk, maybe 45 minutes around the streets surrounding the motel after a delicious lunch at the Lake View Hotel. We had to leave at 7.30 the next morning.
The hosts thought of everything. They had condiments in the kitchen. The accommodation had everything we needed including washer and dryer and a dishwasher. There was even lego for the kids. The place was clean and tidy and well looked after. The location was unbeatable in Shellharbour- Just on the edge of the village and 150m or so from the swimming pool. We were annoyed at ourselves for only booking 1 night and not 2.
Excellent house, fully stocked with great facilities. House was clean and comfortable with lots of entertainment options, which were well looked after. Great for family holidays or multiple couples with or without kids. Lastly, the best part, the view was exceptional from multiple rooms and very close to Shellharbour main strip
The owners Derek & Ange were there to greet us and were the friendliest & most helpful people ever. Everything was first class, with little added comforts. I would totally recommend Shellharbour Haven.
