It was an exceptionally good experience. From the moment we stepped in to the time we left, our stay was top class. The view to the clean rooms and spacious dining and living areas were amazing. We had a party of 7 and it did not dissapoint. There were some comments from other guests (on the website) that the drive up was challenging, but rest assured it was not. We had a kia Carnival and it easily handled the terrain. The bonus of a washer and dryer , BBQ and a nice warm heater etc were icing on the cake. I have already shared this place with my friends !!

The house was just right for my small family.
The house was just right for my small family. It has a beautiful view looking down to the city, clean and cozy. You will have to go through a rough road to get to the house( about 1km) but it's well worth it. I will stay here again if I have a chance to.

A great place to "escape" to- a wonderful location, great accommodation and all for an affordable price. The cabin had everything you needed to self cater or you're not too far from town. The owners are really easy to communicate with and overall it was a very enjoyable stay. You do need to be mindful of the steep, gravel driveway, especially if you have a very low to the ground car!! But otherwise an awesome place to base yourself for a visit to the Hobart area! Can't wait to get back there :)

We stayed over night at Mount Rumney with our four year old and it was lovely and very family friendly. The place was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and had extra warm blankets. We definitely recommend staying at Mount Rumney escapes.
