We recently stayed at Pacific Beach Resort during the Ironman 70.3 event, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The room was modern, spotless, and provided all the comfort we needed after long days of activities. The location was absolutely ideal, especially for the event, as the resort was right across from the finish line, making it incredibly convenient. Being so close to everything, we were able to fully enjoy both the race and the local area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great stay in a prime location!

Love the location, with beautiful beaches, and marina nearby. Short drive to Australia Zoo and Glass House mountains. Not too busy compared to other nearby beach towns. Reasonably priced restaurants.

Mooloolaba has all the attrractions for a family with young and teenage children plus athletes and pleasant walks for seniours. The cafes and restaurants are plentiful as is the variety and choices of food - all at reasobale prices. There is an abandance of water sports and boating opportunities in the area and the fishing is good too.
There are any number of accommodation choices in the general area and there are good options for exploring the outer regions using tour operator trips or self-drive journeys.

Perfect for a relaxed and easy family holiday.
Perfect for a relaxed and easy family holiday.
Travelling with kids then don’t forget the scooters, it’s a lovely ride along the beaches/coast line. Plenty of choices for food and ice creams. Food market on Thursday evening was fun.
Pharmacy in the middle of the esplanade is very friendly and helpful.
We visited in June and saw whales (quite far out) and dolphins close in. Wild life spotting or whale watching boats leave from the marina near sealife if visiting in season. The pub down at the marina is family friendly too whilst you are there.
Aqua duck, sealife and fishing amongst the rock pools are other great alternatives to the the beautiful beach. There is a good little play park at the surf club end (smaller kids) but new play park at the opposite end is fabulous, especially if your kids are a little older (mine at 6 and 10 both loved it).

The beach on the weekend is nice.
The beach on the weekend is nice. Lots of family activity and cafe culture, dog walking etc. There is a big Cole’s by the beach so easy to get groceries. I didn’t venture too far from the Hotel so can’t comment beyond this. If you are going for a beach holiday it’s a good spot. Breakfasts are good but evening meals are pricey.
We stayed at Sailport for the weekend and we loved it. The apartment was spacious, the location is directly across the road from Mooloolaba Wharf. It’s only a street back from the esplanade and not far to the beach and other Sunshine Coast locations. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Cannot fault our stay.
Very friendly reception staff that were happy to help out with anything. The room was very clean , comfortable and modern. The unit is within 100m walking distance of the Mooloolaba esplanade where there is a huge variety of cafes clubs and pubs etc.
Location was excellent for us to overnight after a function at the Mooloolaba wharf also walking distance to mooloolaba beach and the esplanade and its many shops and cafes the next day, Motel room was clean and spacious.
Amazing location right in the entertainment centre of Mooloolaba on the beachfront. Great pool for the kids to play. Beds were comfortable and apartment was clean.
