What a fabulous facility. Right from the start we were impressed with the friendly and helpful lady at reception who kindly facilitated our early check in when we arrived earlier than anticipated from our hike. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We appreciated the guest laundry. The breakfast was impressive and our whole stay was great value for money.

The lovely lady on the desk helped me upgrade my room. I was in 033 on the first floor. It has a brand new A/C so very quiet. Great balcony away from traffic noise and big rooms. Very clean.
The only small problem was the shower which didn’t really spray at all (so water comes out more like a tap). Unfortunately it didn’t have a spray adjustment that other rooms I’ve stayed in here have. Not a big deal.
Microwave came in handy and there is a washing machine and dryer too. Secure parking as well. So a great overall experience. There is a nice korean resturant next to the reception so I grabbed some takeaway.

the room was comfortable. The bed firm and the pillows just right.
I love Leura and never get tired of visiting.
We ate at the Fairmont Resort because it was so convenient having a 5 and 7 year old.
We were only able to stay for 2 nights and were very sad to leave because our stay was so enjoyable.

Leura is a lovely village-like place in the mountains.
Leura is a lovely village-like place in the mountains. Cold in winter, it is very popular and busy on weekends. Lovely old estates and homes keep it interesting amongst beautiful gardens. Plenty of shopping, hiking, lookouts in the area and close to Katoomba.

Leura is full of quirky shops, cafes etc. For the more active there is some wonderful bush walks around Leura or for less active many accessible lookouts. Winter is particularly lovely with the chance of snow. Spring sees the mall looking its grandest with cherry blossoms and festivals. Summer in the mountains is cooler than towns on the plains with fabulous Christmas meals. Autumn is a must for the spectacular colour of the deciduous trees. Beautiful area full of wonderful gardens.

Leura is a pretty and vibrant town, close to lookouts and walks. It has a gorgeous main street with cute shops and delicious cafes (try Lily's Pad!). Our Uber driver John was exceptionally friendly and gave us some great local tips. We will be back!

Leura is a picturesque quient town with a selection of independent shops and cafés. It is in a great location to visit the Blue Mountains and all the surrounding visitor attractions it has to offer. It also has a local train station for trips to adjacent towns. Katoomba is only a 10 minutes or less drive away for a greater selection of supermarkets, stores and dining/drinking options, if required.

Leura is a lovely town with a plethora of eating places within walking distance. The Alexandra Hotel, circa 1908, is a modern bistro setting within a grand dining room and quality al fresco veranda seating as well as classical beer garden furniture in a large grassed area overlooking the railway line and great scenery beyond. The hotel can be reached along a quick track beside the Leura Station which stands at the top of the main street.
A special treat is High Tea at the Teapot Museum (5,000+ teapots) at the other end of the main street.
Opportunities for walks and sightseeing are endless, either by foot or car or the Hop On Hop Off bus. The scenery and feeling of well being due to the natural environment cannot be measured.
Sweet B&B, we stayed for a night. A little out of town, but an easy walk into Leura central.
Craig was so helpful, and even dropped us off in the morning to begin our hike, and offered us a lift back. Rare to find this personal service.
We also took the advantage of the in house dinner, and BYO, and they even kept our wine chilled prior to dinner.
Breakfast was great, and all staff were friendly and helpful.
A very nicely appointed cottage with good amenities and a lovely outlook. The location is leafy and quiet and an easy drive into the township of Leura. An ideal spot to stay for a weekend or longer to explore the Blue Mountains. It was an extra treat to have all the cockatoos and parrots visit us in the backyard in the afternoons!
The cottage was very clean, comfortable, well appointed, and pleasant. Since the weather was on the cool side, we enjoyed the gas log fireplace in the living room. The cottage was close to shopping, restaurants, and the places we wanted to visit. The yard was very pretty with blooming rhododendrons.
Very happy with food provided for breakfast. Location is perfect. Just a short walk to Leura Mall and Hop On, Hop Off bus enabling us to do many walks in the Blue Mountains. Holley House has a magnificent garden which we enjoyed with a glass of bubbly. 😀
The area it's located in. The kitchen was well equipped
The space around the house was not too cramped that no one can move around freely. Close to the look out.
necessary items for bathing. A fire place was good for the rainy days.
Loved the house. The sunshine on the side deck as glorious. The spacious rooms, the ensuites, the well stocked and clean kitchen, the fireplace and comfy lounge. The house was brilliant. Thank you! Looking forward to our next stay.
Loved the authentic Australian cottage, its furnishings and garden space. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Location was perfect to take in the blue mountains in the area, and to browse the local shopping mall.
Located close to Katoomba and Leura. Great basecamp. The property has a barbecue that you can use + a pool (but not for the winter). Rooms are spacious and have everything you'll need. Lovely space and incredibly lovely people.
The setting was absolutely beautiful! The hotel had so many activities to do. The food was delicious in both restaurants and the staff were so friendly! Sign up for a hotel membership it saved us money at the fancy restaurant!
The property was extremely spacious, interestingly quirky and very well-equipped. We loved browsing through the books in the lounge, and only wish that we could have stayed for longer in Leura.
Absolutely loved this cottage. It was cosy with the open fire and gas log fire, 4 poster bed and spa bath. Location was close to the sights and Leura & Katoomba.
Lovely spacious room, very clean with large ensuite.Undercover parking. Convenient to Leura Town centre and easy walking distance to bars, restaurants.
