Comfy rooms, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a cancellation occur with some other accommodation but the staff was able to secure us another night here for a pretty decent price.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday to Wednesday when the town is very quiet and the famous market closed-only open on weekend. Also the art gallery was closed as they were preparing for another exhibition-would have been nice to have been forwarned to avoid going there.

Fremantle is a very walkable place.
Fremantle is a very walkable place. It's mostly flat and most things are within a 1 -2 km walk. We did not have a car and did not miss it. High Street is the place for cafes and shops. Bathers beach is great for restaurants and sunsets.
The pace in Fremantle is slow, which suited us. We had a wonderful 4 days here and would recommend Fremantle to anyone wanting to experience the friendliness of Western Australia and enjoy that small town feel.
Fremantle Markets is also brilliant.

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers.
The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great. Markets were amazing and worth visiting. The beach was small in Fremantle but very clean. There is a great atmosphere and it is very safe to walk around with good transport links to Perth.
We had a great stay at Tradewins and they are with no doubt one of my favorite hotels to stay in Fremantle/Perth region. Positive points:
-Helpful reception
-Clean, fresh and modern rooms with good lightning
-Nice clean and modern bathroom
-Comfy bed and pillows
-Steady & fast internet
-Pool (unfortunately not heated)
-Easy to navigate to hotel & free parking on hotel premises.
-Rooftop terrace where you can enjoy your own beer at amazing sunset.
-Free laundry
-Short walk to the river
Great location near to Bathers Beach and the waterfront, everything in Fremantle is walkable from here. Our room was a great size and we opted for a balcony which unfortunately didn't get much use because of the rain but was nice to sit out on when the weather allowed. The room and facilities were clean and modern. We had a car for some of our stay but managed to find on road parking every night which saved us a lot compared to using the carpark associated with the hotel.
The staff members who booked me in and also out were genuinely friendly and helpful, not fake at all which is a pleasant surprise to what I've been experiencing in most other places. The A frame donga was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Value for money when you consider how close to Fremantle it is and you get secure parking for free, unlike all the hotels who charge extra for parking.
Very cool and unique hostel in Fremantle. Walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Fremantle and also close to the train to get into town. The yard was super nice for hanging out in. At times you really did feel like you were in a prison but that was part of the experience! The kitchen is also great and super well equipped. Easy to meet new friends.
Always an incredible stay at this boutique hotel. A fab mixture of Fremantle historic architecture and history and a modern renovation of the interior without loosing its original feel. Beds are always comfortable and a beautiful use of marble to give a deluxe feel throughout. Highly recommend this little gem in the heart of town.
The manager made it very easy to check in and out even though my flights were the middle of the night. Feels very welcoming and lots of privacy, the kitchen was a huge plus. Such a great location for all the fun Fremantle things. Really hip cocktail places down the street.
Beautiful quiet neighbour hood! Nice view from hotel balcony. We walked to great restaurants in the town. Must check out duck duck Bruce for breakfast and Fremantle Prison was worth a visit too. The hotel was very spacious and clean!
Excellent location, very funky hotel, brilliant staff who were very helpful. Clean and nicely furnished, loved the body wash / shampoo and conditioner. Also loved the little bar next door with the cheese platter & nice fire pit.
It is a little art gellary and we really enjoyed our one day stay there touch the feel of the old fremantle. everywhere is a photo spot. definately recommended anyone who is going to fremantle to exprience this little hotel.
Value for money, staff is very, very friendly and if you don't have a splendid idea of a hotel night that might be a real good option for one or two nights. Good location for Fremantle and Perth by car. Recommended.
Great location overlooking the Fremantle Harbour. The staff were friendly, and our room was absolutely lovely, we would definitely recommend Be Fremantle and look forward to staying there again in the future.
Excellent location, close to all of Fremantle’s numerous dining options, and entertainment precinct. Easy, flexible check in sharing with Hougomont Hotel, with onsite paid parking.
amazing location in the heart of Fremantle. it is huge which is amazing for an extended stay and felt like you were staying in a little bit of Freo history
