Our stay was fantastic! The spa was great and we loved the double shower! The layout was awesome and the outdoor area was fabulous and sheltered, even in the pouring rain! The whole place felt nice, luxe and private.

a lovely positive and relaxed vibe. Whatever I needed was there for me, table can be used as desk.
enjoyed my short stay of 3 nights, I was collected by family, may have been bit far to walk for me, but taxi would be ok.
the driveway is a bit steep, so maybe not for the mobility challenged, but once there all on same level although the pool needs to accessed by 2 sets of steps.

I had never visited Coolum Beach and very pleasantly surprised. No high rise. Busy in the evening most restaurants and eat outs busy. Very easy walk form our accommodation to somewhere to dine, and loads to pick from. We went to Coolum Thai Spice and we love Thai food and the meals we ordered were above point in flavor and would return there in a heart beat. Breakfast at Cafe and Pastier next door to Thai also didn't disappoint. Visited some retail on Sunday morning and returning home with fond memories of our experience.

At first sight what struck us was bright, clean and tidy, no litter or graffiti, lots of greenery in the main street, lots of activity, everyone happy, considerate and friendly, well presented and orderly. the beach was a long enticing stretch of flat wide sand maybe 60 70 meters wide and 15km long, under the sun, stretching to Noosa, with crystal clear water and snow-white foaming ripples lapping back and forth, such an expanse of a vivid deep blue horizon shimmering against the lighter blue above is just so mesmerizing coming from suburban city existence most of your living time: that single profound vision alone well worth the visit.

Coolum beach is a great town.
Coolum beach is a great town. Very close to Noosa if you want more activities. Coolum beach itself is great for swimming and long walks. The promenade walks are stunning. Huge choice of restaurants. Main supermarkets close to Coolum (that I knew of) was Coles near beach area and Woolworths about 1.5km from beach.
I would definitely return to this area when back in Australia. It's very relaxing. Also close to Yandina that has the ginger factory, macadamia factory and various other places of interest.

Quiet little pocket, great little community away from the highway... Where we stayed was off the beach, but a short distance to the beach, close to a walking trail, shops, shopping centres and all manner of facilities... didn't really need to travel outside of Coolum for supplies, it offered everything we needed. Also nice easy coast drive to Noosa. We really enjoyed Coolum!
We have stayed at the Beach Retreat three times over the past few years. Every room has a seaview or sea glimpse right across the road from the beach, and restaurants, clubs and shops in same vicinity. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate for our needs for a few days. Car parking is undercover. Staff always ready for us when we arrive. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves on the nearby rocks and the magnificent views of the sea is our drawcard.
Pool facilitites were great. close to beach and walking distance to Beach Hotel and Surf Club etc. They didnt advise there was a parking height restriction so we had to park on Street which was an issue as parking was tight
Loved staying at Surf Dance Apartments Coolum. Staff were great, very friendly. Apartment was lovely, clean and very comfortable. View from verandah was gorgeous at all times of day, great view of Coolum Beach.
The location in Coolum Beach, the facilities were well looked after and we liked the face that there was a lockable garage that we could store some of our belongings safely.
