Lovely place to visit, great scenery & plenty of things nearby to enjoy. The only sore point is parking in the CBD. Wherever you go, you have to pay for parking until 6pm, $5.00 per hour. We mostly had dinner at the Beach Hotel, good food at great prices. Specials on every night.

Byron Bay has a pleasant environment, a vibrant atmosphere, and very friendly locals. The streets are clean, with shops, cafes, and restaurants that make you feel very welcome.
Enjoyed the city a lot. The lighthouse marks the most east point of Australia. The main beach is great with tourists, locals, and surfers. The Tallow beach has surfers also but its extension makes you feel almost alone in paradise, surrounded by little creatures. I haven´t the time to make the trip on the solar train. It is a 3 km shuttle service, between North Beach and Byron Beach.

DIFFICULT TO FIND PARKING ALL PAY PARKING,HEAVILY CONGESTED WITH TRAFFIC, MORE CITY LIKE DRIVERS.
Otherwise very pretty scenery and waterfront, more suitable to younger people, to whom it appears to cater.
Lots of surfing enthusiasts.

I’ve watched Byron change over the last thirty years and am pleased to see that it still retains remnants of its surfing/hippie culture (not enough for me but some nonetheless) I’m not a fan of the glossy influencer elements that have commercialised the town and made it inaccessible to some people BUT the natural beauty and sacredness of the location will always have my heart 🌈💕🌊 Best coffee ever!

It was our first time to Byron.
It was our first time to Byron. We loved the friendly welcoming nature of the locals, the diversity of the travellers and the cleanliness of the town. The restaurants and pubs had something for everyone, ample shopping options and great cafes. the beach was always pristine and clean.
Beyond Byron we explored Lismore, Bangalow, Teven and Nimbin and loved everywhere we went, with equally welcoming locals.

Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food.
Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food.
We ate at Bang Bang, modern Asian the first night beautiful setting, the best red duck curry we have ever had and fantastic service.
There are a lot of Mexican, Asian and Japanese restaurants but something to suit everyone.
We ate at Three Blue Ducks which was dissapointing and expensive.
We took a hot air baloon flight over Byron Bay, everyone should do this it was perfect.
Near by places to visit are Bangalow a charming village with an amzing bakery and great shops, only 15 min drive away.
Great location, minutes from town. Woolworths, fish shops, all night cake shop, all the surf brands, cafes right on the door step ( practically). Now has a large freeway running adjacent to the property which wasn't the case when I use to stay here but, you don't hear it. The reception staff are always helpful and obliging. The cabins are equipped with tv, microwave, cook tops some pans etc. I was able to check in early which was SOOOO much appreciated as I wasn't well ( travel sickness) after a bus trip down from Byron Bay.
What a gorgeous house. Such a beautiful and well styled space. Felt homely right from the start which we loved. Big enough to share as 2 families, but also enough room to spread out and get away from one another if needed. The pool and outdoor deck area is an awesome spot to chill and relax. Kids enjoyed playing games on the lawn and hanging by the firepit at night. Short walk to the Byron Bay general store cafe. Short drive into town (or out of town!) Easily accessible through the communication sent - this was appreciated.
My friends and I had a fantastic girls' weekend stay at this property! The place was beautifully decorated and very spacious, and we loved the backyard with a table to enjoy our morning coffee. The location is perfect, within a few minutes walking distance to the heart of downtown Byron Bay. The beds were very comfy and the wifi worked perfectly, which was great for playing music on the TV before heading out for the night. Would definitely stay again!
Great park with superb facilities to entertain everyone - various little lakes, a creek to walk along or sit next to, swimming pools, water parks, an entertainment area and only a short drive to Byron Bay and the walk from Wattogo Beach to the Lighthouse.
Cabins good with the ability to separate the two sleeping areas with doors from one another. A good size cabin for a family with one or two children.
Amazing place to stay in Byron, rooms were immaculate and clean, located a short walk from the Byron lighthouse and a 10-15 minute walk to town, so close enough to walk in and out but just outside the hustle and chaos during peak season. Run by lovely people in Marc, Katie and Rory who couldn’t be more accomodating and helpful with local knowledge. Absolute must stay for a Byron bay getaway!
Absolute paradise! We jut had the most amazing time here. Ocean views to Surfers Paradise, wrapped around the entire house, even from the spa! All the furnishings are new, gorgeous and luxurious. The whole house is so spacious and we had great dinners on the front deck and cocktails on the back patio. Plus, it's just a few minutes walk to the beach. We're definitely coming back.
A quiet & comfortable location that is very clean and close to the town centre. Nenad and Adrian are truly wonderful hosts - that cater to all your needs. A wealth of information on where to eat and all that's great in and around Byron Bay. Delicious home cooked breakfast is delivered to your room each day. Thank you for a memorable stay. We plan to visit again.
The hotel is across the road from the beach and has restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was a nice hike to the lighthouse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They made dining recommendations and each restaurant had amazing food, all within minutes of the hotel
PERFECT accommodation for our stay in Byron Bay. We got a private room + bathroom, so it was basically a vibey hotel for us, with tons of useful facilities. The pool area is gorgeous, huge kitchen and lovely relaxation decks. Hostel vibes with the luxuries of a hotel.
Harvey's was a fantastic place to stay. The house was bigger than expected, with a sizeable kitchen and ample living room space for 8. We used the outdoor furniture and BBQ alot, whilst also being tremendously convenient to get to the bustling hub of Byron Bay.
Cedia House is a gorgeous property that was so comfortable for a family stay. The house is great, the pool was fantastic and the view was stunning. Close to
Bangalow and an easy 20min drive to Byron Bay. Would definitely highly recommend.
Always a pleasure staying at Byron Bayside. Very handy to everything....cafes, bars, shopping and beach. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment always clean due to daily housekeeping. Very affordable for Byron and good value!
Easy access, and great location which was central to Byron Bay. The place was spacious and clean, with all the amenities to make a more than comfortable stay. The beds were definitely exceptional to have a blissful nights sleep.
Excellent location close to beautiful Belongil beach. Set back from the beach and secure. Lovely tree-house feel with lots of breeze. Great responsive service from Luxury Escape team.
We had a lot of room to spread out.
it was clean and the staff was nice.
it is a great small boutique hotel in a town with no large hotels as it should remain. adds to the charm.
The location, the facilities and the view.
Six minutes' walk to Wategos Beach and twelve minutes' walk to the Byron Bay Lighthouse. Well maintained lush garden and friendly host.
Boutique hotel so quite intimate. Excellent owner/ Manager who bent over backwards to help solve a logistical problem and who recommended some great restaurants
