Links House was perfect! We stayed there for our wedding along with the rest of our bridal party. The grounds and rooms are stunning. We especially loved the bar area with fireplace and the courtyard. The staff were all so lovely and went above and beyond for us, including staying late to keep the bar open for us to have some drinks after the wedding.

The historic ambience of the hotel and grounds. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, in particular Christine the manager, Olivia in the restaurant at breakfast and Paul (bartender, storyteller and chef) in the whisky and gin bar in the evenings.

The Bradman and the International Cricket Museum was fascinating. Spent 3 hours there.
Had a great meal at the Centennial Winery.
On the downside was the continuous stream of traffic in town, and the difficult parking.

The lovely historic cottage was so comfortable with sufficient heating. We didn't miss television, in fact it was good not to have it. Bowral is quite busy during the day with car spaces at a premium even though there are quite a lot of parking areas. We parked on the street, finding two parking spaces for our two cars and walked to the closest cafe Le Gastronome and had a delicious lunch with friendly staff and heated plates to keep our food hot.

Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay.
Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay. Enjoyed wandering around the CBD and popping into the many interesting shops. Plenty of options for coffee/morning/afternoon tea. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Enjoyed our Thai meal at Home 9 and a dinner at Briars.

Bowral itself is a lovely place to window shop of clothes (mens and womens), browse antiques, meet for coffee or lunch, just wander. Gumnut Bakery is an absolute must visit - best pastries ever. Bowral the locality is wonderful to drive around the area and see grand heritage houses, farms, and the landscape beyond is peaceful, green and relaxing.
The room was as expected - a pleasantly furnished large motel room; nothing spectacular. Everything (TV, wifi etc) worked as it should. Had a very nice lunch in the attached pub. The motel was well located just a short walk from Bowral Station and close to all the shops. The room was on the ground floor and quiet - we were not disturbed by cars or noise in the car park at all.
the hotel was really
nice but we got ripped of with our breakfast $50 that was supposed to be reimbursed as wen we found out it was only a continental breakfast we requested our money back becuase a few peices of toast is not worth $50 we wer led to belive it was a HOT BREAKFAST
