Our unplanned visit to Tasmania was due to the sudden passing of my father.
As this wasn't our first-stop over during our stay we were amazed at the value for money we got with our little cabin

Good location but car dependant. VERY helpful lady on reception on arrival. Lovely hot showers, comfy bed, everything we needed. Sea view. Very quiet. Didn't use any facilities other than laundry. Not too busy...the BBQ was a huge bonus as was the rainwater tank. Lovely fresh water. Thank you.

Peter and Zing are wonderful hosts. Very knowledgeable of the area. Bungalow was very clean with plenty of extra items that you wouldn't find in other accommodation. Even an airfryer! Plenty of room for the 4 of us to relax and a short stroll up the road to the lighthouse to watch the sun set over the ocean.
Beautiful sunrises out the back each morning. We highly recommend Cockle Shell as 'the' place to stay when visiting Low Head. Zing even made us yummy chicken dumplings. It's 10/10 from us.
We will be back.
Thanks again Peter and Zing

Amazing view! Very comfortable cottage with everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast items were an added bonus. Pademelons very cute in the garden. A short walk and you're at the jetty, great for fishing with the family. Ian was a great host offering excellent recommendations.

Lovely well located in the heart of the wine district.
Lovely little village set in a beautiful area of Tasmania.
Lovely little village set in a beautiful area of Tasmania. As with small villages, there isn't much in the way of shops or transport, but if one has a vehicle, the sky's the limit! The closest town is Beaconsfield, a short 5k away, and one can do the weekly shopping there, as well a little exploring in the surrounding areas. The countryside is truly stunning.
Beauty Point has a couple tourist attractions - the seahorse "farm" and a platypus attraction opposite.
Walking round the town is easy, without many hills, and the people I met were very friendly.
The only place I ate was Chefs Catch, with delicious fresh local fish and chips and delightful dessert and icecream from the Tamar area.
The views from just about everywhere are spectacular!

Beauty Point is a quiet town near Beaconsfield.
Beauty Point is a quiet town near Beaconsfield. Good for RV and caravans and people just resting. Not a lot to do at Beauty Point but the area has much to see if you have a car. A nice place to visit for a few days.

Travelling Tas this place was by far the most uncomfortable , we had virtually no sleep on the concrete mattress , no bathroom door . Just a curtain across . Old sofa uncomfortable as well Not value for money . View of shrubs , no garden view Beauty Point itself was a pretty place . I would not recommend the G’Day Park cabin for the money we were charged

The location was beautiful and just far enough to travel to get dinner/food. The cabins were spacious and there was plenty of room for the whole family. The coffee machine was a nice touch, really good hot coffee gets everyone going in the morning! Beauty point has a great fish and chip shop, but noted it does not open on Monday evenings and a trip to Beaconsfield was required for dinner. Plenty of space in the cabins to cook your own meal if needed. Fridge was huge, bathroom was roomy, bedrooms were good size.
