This small flat attached to the main house was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, comfortable and secure. An excellent find in Alice Springs. Highly recommended.

Alice Springs is a city with many problems that only they can resolve, however it is the closest place to Uluru to fly to from most cities in Australia. The Doubletree nextdoor would be a much more desirable place for many travelers to spend a night. If staying longer, there are many interesting attractions, including a world-class animal preserve, to enjoy. The advice many Australians gave us was to avoid downtown. I would concur. We needed to do some grocery shopping prior to driving to Uluru, so we had no choice.

A place on the decline.
A place on the decline. Very few local businesses still open or operating. Few options other than pub meals available. Drinks in local bars very expensive. Do not go out on your own in town after 2100 hrs. Be prepared to be humbugged by the local indigenous people. Thought I was travelling through parts of South Africa with high fences and barbed wire. Can't see myself returning again, there's no reason.

First we visited the Town's Information center, Staff were excellent and provided all information we needed for our 3 day tour, Places we visited , West and East Macdonald ranges, Anzac Hill / Tower, There are lots of Gauges and natural landscapes are breathtaking,
There are places you can eat, and buy things that you need ,
but make sure to carry sufficient liquor as only 3 days that bottle shops are opened, and limited hours,

It was a nice town that has been effected by covid - not as bustling as it used to be with most shops on Todd Mall closed down but there are efforts underway to revitalise which will be great - fantastic to see all the local art

LOCALS ARE GREAT. THE TOWN IS GREAT. VERY RELAXED.
LOCALS ARE GREAT. THE TOWN IS GREAT. VERY RELAXED. JUST AVOID THE WHINGERS RUNNING HOTELS AND ANYONE NOT BORN IN AUSTRALIA. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SCARE AND PUT FEAR INTO VISITORS FOR NO GOOD REASON AND DO NOT EMPLOY ANY AUSTRALIANS.
I arrived to a very friendly and helpful member of staff. Our room was very comfortable and the shower was delightful - it had great water pressure and the water was hot! It was a lovely afternoon when we arrived so we opted to sit by the pool in the sun for a while and read which was delightful. In the evening, we were recommended to have a meal at the Alice Springs Golf Club located at the rear of the property, which was a great recommendation. Thank you Desert Palms for having us.
Excellent caravan park located just outside of Alice Springs. We stayed one night in one of the two-bedroom units on our way back from visiting Uluru. The unit was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bouncing pillow and waterslide were clear favorites for my 10 and 12 year old girls. If you have children, they will love it here!
The villa was comfortable and similar to a hotel room with a little kitchen area with fridge and appliances. Good location and we walked into town a few times and it was an easy ~25m walk along the Todd. Staff at reception were friendly and didn’t use any of the other facilities but spotted a few people using the laundry and dryer.
Located in a really quiet and secure part of Alice Springs but only a short walk to the centre. I loved how many hangout spaces there are are the garden is beautiful, especially at night. Also loved the quirky designs of the place and the hostel cat! The whole place has a quiet and chilled vibe but is also social.
An absolute gem in Alice Springs. We stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect accommodation to commence our travels in The Red Centre. Informative hosts, super comfortable beds, squeaky clean, sumptuous breakfasts, super relaxing outdoor areas, beautiful pool......
easy self check in, easy self check out, flexible in extending check out time, washer + drying lines in yard + small dryer rack indoors , spacious studio for a family, hot water shower , short distance to everything relevant in and around alice springs
I love this hotel. It is the only hotel I stay at in Alice. The staff are always friendly, great rooms, the restaurant Barra on Todd is a favourite, top location and always a pleasure to stay here on my trips to Alice Springs.
The hotel had good rooms, that were serviced daily.
The hotel was located centrally in Alice Springs with access to Todd Mall and local restaurants.
Under-cover and safe parking was available and very beneficial.
Location was perfect. The hotel is tired and in need of maintenance. The pool was fantastic. A microwave was supplied on request as well as crockery. We were able to self cater when we chose to do so.
