Right opposite the train station and what appears to be a nearly new hotel. Harry’s Hotel is a great place. It’s a short walk from the town centre. Big room and very quiet. I did think it was a bit on the expensive side but would be so convenient for business travellers.

Villach is really beautiful. So peaceful, place is really clean and not overcrowded. Great train links to amazing places like lake Ossiach, lake worthersee, veldon. Lovely location, lots of cafes, very chilled, lovely views. Relatively quiet, if want night life go to Veldon, only a short train journey. Had a fabulous time. Go paragliding it’s phenomenal and the spa karnten therme is really good. Definitely visit the lakes they are stunning.

It is a small and charming town, but there is really not much to do, you can see all the sights in a single day. But if you're planning to explore the surrounding areas for the lakes and hikes, then it is a good base location.

We only stayed one night in Villach on our way to an extended stay in Italy. We had a wander round the old town however and it appeared to have many very interesting features. We intend to come back for a longer stay next year to explore Villach and the surrounding area of beautiful Austrian countryside.

Fabulous little city, romantic downtown, great church.
Fabulous little city, romantic downtown, great church. Shopping and pedestrian zone superb. Landskron castle a must visit, Food and amenities super. Downtown hotels are very attractive and stylish, the river Drau is impressive. The lakes, Faaker and Ossiacher are brillant and pristine. Would go back in a heartbeat, stay was too short.

A nice and quiet town, however there are a lot of places to hang out at night and have a good time. Good restaurants not just typical ones. Perfect for a summer or a winter vacation: ski-area quite close, lakes very near, biking and hiking route
For swimmers, the 25m sport pool is a good place to do a few lengths. There's also a good gym. We didn't have time to try the natural springs, but it's a unique feature that deserves a mention. Despite the excellent hotel breakfast, I think visiting the pool and spa (without being a hotel guest) might allow you to get the best from this resort. Our experience as guests in the hotel itself was disappointing, given there is good accommodation at a fraction of the price to be had elsewhere in Villach.
Beautiful boutique hotel located in the city center, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
The room was clean, and seemed to have been renovated recently.
Bed was very comfortable, the room itself was nice and quiet, bathroom was spacious. Room included water heater and tea and coffee. Breakfast was great and plenty, the restaurant that is part of the hotel has great food, but is closed on Mondays
The hotel is close to the centre but it's not noisy. We were on a bike tour and they have cages at the back to lock them up in which was good. The rooms are quite small but have what you need, the bed was a little small too, I had thought it was an Austrian twin but it was more like a double bed, luckily I was travelling with a good friend.
Super modern, clean and fresh apartment with all facilities and comfort one needs for a stay. Online check-in was quick and easy, everything worked out well with no reception. Well located in the city center. We also had breakfast there as the kitchen is fully equipped. Would definitely come back here once we are back to Villach.
they say i would feel like home in their apartment.
well i felt like home and it was a nice home clean and easy to check in.
everything you need is near the apartment the city center the shops the restaurants
check out the golden lam restaurant it’s beautiful and it’s just 1 minutes of walking from the apartment
Very nice, tasteful and various breakfast with professional and warm staff. Interior of common areas also nice, and decorated with style.
Hotel is located at great location, just at the edge od Villach but close enough to reach everything- center, highway, ski resorts.
Hotel has parking and garage.
I was there with a friend, the hotel is clean and has an easy check-in process.
The staff is very friendly. After we checked out I noticed that they booked 2 breakfasts, although we didn’t have breakfast. I contacted the hotel and they managed to return the extra charges in the next couple days.
The apartment was very clean with modern decor and a great layout. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. Free use of laundry services was very helpful. Location is great, it’s very close to the center of Villach and also only a 20 minute drive from Italy. Highly recommend staying here!

The location of the Hotel is excellent and really quiet. It is close to the city center and the railway if you want to go on a trip. Breakfast is delicious. The size of the room is right. Panoramic elevator with nice views. The staff is helpful and kind. :)
Very good location in the city center. Rooms are spacious, new and very clean with comfy mattresses. Staff was super nice and very helpful. Breakfast buffet could be bit more resourceful it but was definitely sufficient. Would definitely recommend
Great classic hotel in a building circa 1500, big rooms grand in size, great facilities good breakfast in fact massive breakfast
We got there at midnight and were given clear instructions on how to get in and access room
Breakfast was very satisfying, nice view to "Drau", rooms were very confortable and it was great to come to the "Villacher Fasching" through the hotel. We would recommend this hotel again, and we would love to return.
This hotel’s main feature is its location, as it’s only a 5 min walk from the train station and a 2 min walk from the city center. Price is decent, and makes it good value for money
