As soon as we showed up to Hubertushof the staff were super accommodating, valeted our car and gave us a glass of presseco. The lake was the most stunning place and the breakfast was amazing. Our room was so spacious and beautiful.

Position on lake is nice and city center was quite animated.
Took little train and that was a pleasant ride, with good comments (in German only).

Rustical location, solid Austrian countryside. Positively surprised that grocery stores were open on Sunday. Negatively surprised that I could not actually reach the lake - it was tightly surrounded by private properties. I would have expected maybe a walkway / bike trail around the lake.

Velden am Wörthersee is comparable to Monaco in my opinion. There are another type of Austrians and another lifestyle. There is a lot to see and a lot more to do and enjoy. Nice landscapes and nature spots all over the neighborhood.

Beautiful small city near the lake, on the other side of Klagenfurt. Nice bars, walking patches and the most amazing concert venue in the world - Bluesiana Rock Cafe Velden, with great live blues and rock music from all over the world, and the nicest owner ever.

The hotel is absolutely great value for Velden am Worthersee, which is generally very pricey. The location about seven minute walk from the lake is very convenient and the place itself is full of old-world charm. You’d think you just stepped back into a movie set of the early 60s. Rooms are a bit worn out but sizable and the bathrooms have been upgraded. The gentleman who manages the breakfast room is a real charm who totally completes the classic setting.
We had a big room with 2 balconies and a lot of space. The property had sufficient parking for all guests (and having a car is essential with this hotel as it’s pretty far away from all city activities). It had plenty of on-site activities, especially for kids. Perfect breakfast. Very quiet neighborhood with fantastic view of mountains and green fields. The hotel also offered rent services, e.g. both normal and e-bikes.
The breakfast had a rich choice of different foods. The room was quite big and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was not far from the hotel and it was not crowded. We also had a very good parking place for our car. The pizza and the fish in the restaurant were very tasty, we had dinners only there.
Interier is very cool and nice, especially bed was amazing. Around hotel is very nice garden where you can chill in the evening. Location is perfect - 10min by walk to beautiful lake. ANd breakfast was also very very tasty and various. Good vibes, owner is very kind and hospitable. Definitely come back!
We came to Lake Wörth for cycling. The hotel is particularly well located, unfortunately we did not get a room with a view of the lake, so we were disappointed.

Beautiful clean rooms with large balcony. The breakfast was so delicious with many different kind of meals from salmon, hams, scrambled eggs, homemade butter, different kinds of cereas, coffee and teas! Interior of the hotel was like mix of modern art and shabby. Very nice! Hope to come again.
