Quaint hotel in beautiful setting next to the Danube. We had a generous sized room with comfortable bed and period decor. The service at check in was excellent with very helpful staff, including dinner recommendations. Parking was convenient and breakfast was in a sunny room overlooking the river. The common area was like a period lounge with books and armchairs. The hotel was also walkable to the city centre.
Just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Tulln and a 10-minute walk from the train station and the Egon Schiele Museum. Free WiFi and free private parking are available.

Very enjoyable breakfast, good selection of food. I particualarly enjoyed the fruit, melon, peaches, and the cold meats, ham, salami cheese and smoked salmon. Whenever I come to Austria, what I particularly enjoy at breakfast is the bread, expecially the Semiles (bread rolls). I wish that bakeries in the UK could achieve similar standards. I will seek accommodation at the Romerhof on future visits to Tulln.

Hotel was clean and good location to main square, bars, restaurants and shops. We arrived on bikes and there was a garage to park bikes. Room clean. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment but did have drink in bar before going to bed.

Great place for cycling! There are great shops, Tulln has great atmosphere, with great places. But be careful, restaurants are open usually just for lunch to 2pm and later for dinner. But on Monday and Tuesday is a lot of restaurants close unfortunately. There is big difference between places, some restaurants are very bad other great, you must carefully choose.

Unless you have things to do in Tulln, don't bother. Not a place for sightseeing or good food and wine. Rather crude. There is a nice walk along the Danube and playground for little ones, but otherwise nothing really. A lot of smokers and rather plain , heavy Austrian, uninventive food

Tulln Gardens are definitely must see in Tulln. Place is very nice. It has high viewing tower and big playground for kids of all year groups.
Main streets in center and Danube queue are nice for walks and atmosphere. A few playgrounds also there.
Parking in city center is easy but not cheap. Tulln official website has all the information.
We missed places with good food. There are chips, schnitzel and other not healthy stuff everywhere. But good boiled potatoes with rost vegetables were nowhere to find. But this depends on your preference.
All of the staff were really great!! The big tub was a delight! Breakfast was excellent with coffees/expresso/late etc made to order. Note that both the check-in and the breakfast are at another hotel a few blocks away. That made it difficult to have coffee as soon as we wake up, which is what we like. We stayed here as part of a bike ride along the Danube and this location was very convenient, with a place to lock up our bikes. Just minutes to the town center on foot. Excellent value for the price.
The young lad who checked us in was great- he cycled with us to our hotel and showed us where to put our bicycles. He then showed us to our room and made walking and dinner recommendations. He also brought me a light bulb later in the evening when I asked for one. The room was good with nice antique furniture. It was quiet, quality cotton towels and linens. Two minute walk to bakery, main square, and a Billa grocery store.
We were greeted on arrival by a charming young man who carried our heavy bags to our room for us before serving us a welcoming cappuccino.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. They ascertained the opening times of the nearby exhibition and advised us of local facilities.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and has many interesting local photos as well as a comfortable library seating area.

We traveled as a family with my 5-year-old son and we loved it, the location is perfect very close to the center as well as the bike track, the hotel staff was very nice and the receptionist helped us with our many questions. Breakfast was expensive but worth it, huge variety and really tasty. The beds were really comfortable and loved the design of the room with all the equipment.
We chose this hotel only for one transit night.
It's far from the center of the city, but we had no intention to visit something, to take a boat or to make some trips. I only wanted to see the Danube, which is very close. I felt pleased with this.
Hotel is situated in a quiet area and that was what we needed after 1.ooo km drive.
The staff member who checked me in was very friendly and courteously escorted me and my bicycle to my accommodation which was a couple of minutes away from the main hotel. My single room was small but comfortable, and there was a locked cage to keep bikes in. The breakfast was exceptional - I'm still reminiscing about it 🙂
Everything was good! Communication through Booking was always fast and I got answers to all my questions, I didn’t see any staff in the hotel, but I got a message that my keys was left at the reception desk. good place and room was clean. Thank you!
Location is very good, staff was very nice, breakfast was excellent! The dog was very welcomed. I would absolutely return. I borrowed bicycle from the hotel and it took 5 mins to town centre. Its a very cosy comfy small town. I shall return.
Reception staff was very good and helpful in storing my bike in safe/secure location. Was happy that the hotel had elevator as I have 4 heavy bike bags which makes it difficult to climb steps without elevator.

The room was very spacious and the hotel's location was perfect, as it was just a few blocks away from where our family lives. We did not book the breakfast package, but we did eat there one time, and it was very good.
Fantastic, arrived on a rainy day 1 hr before check in and they were happy to let us have the room, great hotel. Staff we all nice and the breakfast was worth every penny. The cappuccino was the best in Austria.

Everything was as expected or described. The hotel does not have a reception, you get the keys from a nearby (5 min) location. The rooms were great, good value for money. We got a parking space right outside.
