I loved the history, the staff, location and the atmosphere. Staff was extra helpful, and not just one person but everyone on the team was extra hospitable and genuinely cared for the guests. Interacting with any team member was super comforting and nice.

St. Wolfgang is lovely but not pedestrian-friendly. The town is chopped up by a highway tunnel. The road from the Garni Buchinger hotel into the town is narrow, mostly with no sidewalks and pitch dark at night. There's a lot of traffic on this road making it unsafe for pedestrians. For this reason we had no choice but to drive the short distance into town each night for dinner.

St. Wolfgang is at the bottom of Schafberg and obvius choice to stay. Village is small, very, very nice (absolutely comparable and probably even nicer than nearby and well known Hallstat). Lake view is visible from almost every house, there are a lot of hotels, really nice shops and a lot of restaurants.
Like elsewhere in Austria, note that shops close early and restaurants close at 22h (.there is a single hotel bar opened until 24h, at least that was correct at the moment of our stay).
I had problems finding gluten free products (local supermarket only) and coffee shops which serve lactose free milk (single coffee shop).
Absolutely recommend st. Wolfgang and will likely come again at some point. There is a lot to see and do here.

Nice historical village.
Nice historical village. Possibility of excursions around the lake, sailing on the lake, hiking in the surrounding mountains. Prices in restaurants are higher, as are prices in hotels. It seems to me that some of them exaggerate. (both hotels and restaurants)

the city itself is very picturesque. On the main street there is a pleasant atmosphere - cafes, shops, in general, a resort. Unlike other similar towns, there are many trekking routes, any kind of water sports on the lake, a bus connection to nearby sights and very-very beautiful everywhere.

the restaurants was very good, and in the summer their is a summer festival with food trucks and music, very nice cultural experience.

you are welcomed with a glass of a very good sparkling wine .
we decided to have lunch in the hotel and we didn’t regret it. the food , the service and the decor .. everything was just perfect
the rooms are big and clean .

The decoration was wonderful. You could feel the spirit of Austrian Gasthöfe. Both from outside and inside ( the whole building, the entrance, the rooms we stayed and the breakfast-restaurant) .
Also the kitchen in our room had every equipment we could’ve needed.
Additionally they were very quick in answering any message we wrote. The communication was perfect. They were very helpful whenever we asked something.
I came across the continent to visit Salzkammergut region, and got magnificent panorama through Seehaus Familie Leifer, apartment truly in perfect location, the room was absolutely clean, spacious, complete kitchenettes for basic cooking, short walk distance to every part of main attractions in St. Wolfgang, and Wi-Fi was good. Definitely recommended for every body who wants to stay in St. Wolfgang.

The room facilities like the Sauna and extra Bathtub were just wonderful. We enjoyed our little stay so much, it was perfect. Nothing comes to mind that could be criticized in this place. The hotel personell accomodated our very late check-in time and decorated our room beautifully, as we were celebrating our honeymoon. To top it all off, the restaurant was also exceptional! Would definitely come here again!
A family owned intimate hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. We had a suite with separate bedroom on the 3rd floor with breathtaking view to Wolfgangsee and surroundings. Room was very specious, romantically decorated and also had a beautiful balcony facing the lake. Breakfast was fabulous! Fresh organic products, all delicious and diverse.

Hotel is fantastic! The location can't be beat, the staff is wonderful, breakfast was lovely, It was the perfect place to stay as we explored the Christmas markets. We booked an apartment and it was perfect for our family of four, with two kids under 12. Would definitely stay there again.
A wonderful place near the lake within walking distance from the city center. It is also very good as a starting point for 1-2 hour car trips, there is a lot to see in that region of Austria. The staff was very kind and helpful, we enjoyed the vacation very much!
Lovely apartment close to St. Wolfgang. Ideal place to stay if you like hiking. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on a balcony and listening to birds singing. The host was very helpful in providing information about the area.
Pastoral area, just 10 min drive from st. Wolfgang that has cool restaurants and cafes. The apparent itself was clean and comfortable, kitchen had all the required equipment. The landlord lady was very kind and helped us in emergency situation over the weekend
The location of this hotel is perfect to many sightseeings and public transfortation. The bed was nice and comfortable. Although it does not have a lake view, the mountain view is still very attractive and can enjoy a subset everyday. The room was clean.
