A nice little town with history. The city walls and towers are still there to see. You can walk around the old city center and read about the history of the town. There are several restaurants and café. One could go to a cinema or go listening to the music, but this is to be checked in advance.
Hiking in the mountain forests or cycling - this is what you do here. There are downhill ski routes, but we were in summer and could not say anything about these.
Within an hour of driving you can reach popular touristic places around, like Dachstein, Hallstadt, Pongau or Salzburg.

Lovely Austrian small town with some historical buildings and a castle. The Skiing center of Radstadt is directly in the town. Radstadt is easily accessible, it is directly linked to Salzburg and Munich by highway.

Good possibility to have good price apartment lille away from ski resort. There a very good connection by train from Salzburg and very good ski bus connection to Obertauer or Zauhensee resorts. You can save lot from not using rental car. Radstad also have all you need to have nice dinner or good shopping.
Our stay in Radstadt, Austria, was wonderful! Nestled within a modern, bright, and spacious apartment, we found ourselves truly at home. The two bedrooms, each boasting comfy beds, ensured a restful night’s sleep. The apartment’s brand-new feel added an extra layer of comfort to our stay, while the convenient parking made exploring the area a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home during our ski vacation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and modern amenities in Radstadt!
Convenient location between Schladming and Radstadt, close to most of main ski zones in the region.
Hosts are very nice, friendly and hospitable. They offer different kind of bio food and beverages in the place, all we tried was fresh and tasty.
We were very happy with the sauna area, which was always top prepared.
The room with a mountain view was clean and warm. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and they served an excellent breakfest. We arrived late in the evening and they recommended us a restaurant nearby (the meal was delicious).
The hotel is petfriendly (7 euro/night/dog).
