A nice little town with history. The city walls and towers are still there to see. You can walk around the old city center and read about the history of the town. There are several restaurants and café. One could go to a cinema or go listening to the music, but this is to be checked in advance.
Hiking in the mountain forests or cycling - this is what you do here. There are downhill ski routes, but we were in summer and could not say anything about these.
Within an hour of driving you can reach popular touristic places around, like Dachstein, Hallstadt, Pongau or Salzburg.

Lovely Austrian small town with some historical buildings and a castle. The Skiing center of Radstadt is directly in the town. Radstadt is easily accessible, it is directly linked to Salzburg and Munich by highway.

Good possibility to have good price apartment lille away...
Good possibility to have good price apartment lille away from ski resort. There a very good connection by train from Salzburg and very good ski bus connection to Obertauer or Zauhensee resorts. You can save lot from not using rental car. Radstad also have all you need to have nice dinner or good shopping.
It is actually a farm where one could rent an apartment. The apartment was clean, has everything we needed, is big enough and totally met our expectations. The kitchen was all new or almost new. The hostess lady is very friendly. She helped us with the accommodation and provided good recommendations about the location.
Radstadt is a very nice little town with historical buildings, some restaurants and shops. We even managed to attend a free concert of the local orchestra! Not mentioning great views, nature and cycling ways.

While the owners were not present, the key-drop system ensured a seamless check-in process. Overall, Ferienhaus Alpennest proved to be an ideal getaway for those seeking a blend of tradition and comfort.
I had an amazing stay in Radstadt, the hotel was very clean and cozy, with all the safety measures followed. Beautiful view from the window, all the facilities I need in the room, good WiFi signal, enough parking lots. Amazing attractions available in the immediate vicinity. The owners were very responsive to all my messages, nice and easy to communicate. The room was prepared in advance with a contactless check in.
Very spacious and newly equipped rooms, great new wellness area & sauna, easy parking. Judith is a great host, makes her own pizza for you to buy (amongst other things such as oils and schnaps) and she sorted out everything out in a second when we were in a pickle! We would gladly come back any time!
Location is close to crosscountry ski tracks and 5-10 minutes by car to wonderful ski areas and Schladming.
Breakfast was alright. Sufficient selection of food. I was missing maybe one more hot dish (sausages, etc). Overall it meets the 3* hotel rating I guess. Delicious 5-course dinner. You can choose between meat or a meatless dish. I thought the parking would be a problem but it was alright. Although, there is not a private parking area for the pension.
I am really impressed by my stay: Wolfgang is a great host and he is very welcoming. The breakfast was simply delicious and offers a great choice. The room was spacious and very clean. Radstadt is a very strategic location, from which you can easily reach beautiful ski areas like Zauchensee, Obertauern and Schladming.
Everything was fine! The room was clean, the beds comfortable and we had a large bathroom, with everything you need! The breakfast was tasty and rich. The city is great, the parking is free for one hour on in the center but there are large parkings in the nearby (200 m from the hotel) free with no time limit.

Radstadt is a beautiful city with historical buildings. Appartementhaus is located next to main square. You can buy a tasty pizza in the restaurant nearby. Apartment has everything you need and it is spacious enough. The owner is kind and easy to communicate.

The staff was so friendly and paid attention to the little things. A family owned hotel with a lot of charm. We had a baby with us and they accommodated everything from baby bed to high chair and always with a smile. We love our stay!
