Breakfast is excellent - choice of locally made cheese and marmalade (super tasty!), bread so delicious you want to try all pieces! Very rich selection of warm and cold options, meaty and vegetarian. Paradise! You can easily stay active hiking around or cycling using numerous good quality cycling routes. Pension has private access to the lake so you can swim, use paddle boards or boat... Gasthof zur post was a good value, and in a good location. The people were very friendly and the restaurant was the most popular place in town, which is probably a good sign.

The view of the lake is incredible, the owners are very nice, the room was very clean.
Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake.

Very easy to do cycle trips ; lots of trails and also easy to cycle round the lake (ca 23km). Also easy to do walks. Swimming in the lake was wonderful.
Reservations definitely need to be done as far in advance as possible during high season for restaurants in the evening. We were astonished how many restaurants were full.
Klagenfurt easy to reach (by car) and Villach easy to reach (by bike) for trips in the towns.

The lake offers a lot.
The lake offers a lot. Hiking and visiting sights nearby is great. The bike tour around the lake was awesome too despite the rainy weather. There's a short hike to three waterfalls which is totally fine and also doable for kids.
For vegetarians it might be a bit tougher to find a good place to eat. Options are limited and during the main season all tables might be reserved in advance. Planning ahead might also be a good idea when visitors want to rent bikes.
Both the bikes (bike point Ossiach) and the food (Stiftsschmiede, Allegro) were of good quality though and the people are really friendly in this region.

Very nice place with a good selection of restaurants and very nice lake excellent cycle paths and for walking. There is also a boat which you can take to different parts of the lake. People are also very helpful and friendly.
Everything was Suoer! Starting from the owners of the place very kind and helpful they make you feel at home. Beautiful location with an exceptional terrace with lakeview and awesome garden very nice atmosphere and convenient location to reach the facilities on the Oddiacher See. The apartment is big and filled with any commodity: oven, fridge, cooker, microwave oven, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, washing machine, hair dryer, and so on. Our stay has been really pleasant!

What we liked? EVERYTHING! Literally. Super-clean, well-equipped (they’ve thought of everything), WiFi, HD TV (for those who want it), spacious rooms and location + access to the Parth Wellness Lakeside Campsite & Country House and of course the amazing Lake Ossiach.
What a pleasure. The hotel is super clean and many fantastic modern new rooms as well with balcony.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Katharina is an amazing chef and we even extended our stay.
We travelled 5 weeks through Austria and Germany and the Pension Neuhof was our favorite as it felt home.

The hotel located a few minutes walk from an Ossiach lake shore. Simple room with small bathroom. Very good breakfast. The restaurant within the building with very satisfactory menu. Nice and helpful stuff. We spent just one night on a trip to Italy and it was quite good shot. Not sure if i I would like to spend more days.
This hotel is on the water front which is its main attraction. The rooms was modern although the aircon seemed 'limited'.
Staff were very polite and helpful and could not be faulted.
The reception area is extremely relaxing and the breakfast selection was excellent compared to others.
I loved the beach & ease of access to all the complimentary equipment (e-bikes, stand up paddles, boat, umbrellas etc), the informal friendliness of the staff, the care with which the whole structure is kept - the price seemed very reasonable
The location and view around the Hotel were really beautiful , the lady in the hotel reception was super nice to us the same for the staff in the restaurant.
The breakfast had everything needed, no complaints there!
