We were in transit only one night. Is not a luxury hotel, but is a very good value for money option. It looks a bit outdated, but was clean, comfortable, the area is very nice, you have a picturesque view from room or balcony. Also we had included dinner and breakfast which was good. The owner really hospitable and nice.

We are a couple from the UK on a motorcycle trip to Croatia and back. We have stayed in some super places during our four week trip so far but the Hotel Tschitscher is simply the best. We were greeted by the host Deter and straight away it became apparent that nothing was too much trouble. There was a garage for our motorbike (which is always a bonus!) and our room was spot on. Deter explained the history of the house to us (there’s lots of it!) and he was then happy to give us his time to chat about a whole host of things we needed information on. Oh, and there’s an amazing selection of books, games and music available. The place is spotless and the breakfast was extremely healthy and beautifully presented. It was representative of the area and included home made jams and quality products from the area, it was definitely the best we’ve had. There is an honesty bar and a wonderful garden. As this was a booking on the homeward part of our journey it was only for one night but we have already decided to come back to stay here and explore the area further in the future. Just before we were leaving we were fortunate enough to meet Deter’s wife who turned out to be equally as charming as Deter. She spent time showing us around her wonderful garden and we were able to swop interesting bits of information on various garden plants. You will not be surprised to hear that we recommend the place highly!

Superb stay here well worth staying especially if you are on a motorcycle
A very pleasant stay was had at this hotel where they very kindly accommodated my motorcycle in a secure garage, free of charge. I had a single room which was simple and whilst it was a little dated, it was clean, functional and perfectly adequate for a one night's stay. The manager was very kind and helpful and spoke excellent English, my stay was a good experience and I would recommend.
We were travelling by bicycle and in need of a comfortable bed and a good meal. This hotel was perfect, and the staff extremely friendly. They even prepared our breakfast in advance so that my brother could leave very early in the morning. Great location too. They dispose of a separate, easy to access, bicycle room.
This is my favorite hotel in the region. The breakfast is superb, the guests are kind, the rooms are comfortable. Everything is clean. The beds are comfortable. Parking is easy.
