I stopped there on my way North for a night break and I was at the beginning hesitant to make the choice as it is not as close as other hotels from the highway, but I must say: I did not regret it at all! Amazing views, peaceful and clean. Plenty of hiking trails to recharge in the nature. If I’ll end up doing the same road, I will definitely stop there again!
The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground.
A small village close to nature. It is rather a place for a calm stay with the family and dogs. If you want night life look somewhere else :)
"Gasthaus 3-Länderblick" or as the locals refer to "Müllner-Rehberger" has a very good restaurant. Cafe Dorfstetter is a nice place for a drink.
Perfect location, in an incredibly beautiful area — the hotel was very comfortable and clean with everything I needed, including a place to store my bike, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there was good food available in the hotel restaurant, including a really decent breakfast. I was here in early Autumn but would love to come back for ski season :)
A lovely, very well equiped house located in the center of Monichkirchen with an amazing view from the terrace and just a few minutes walking distance from the ski resort. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay, the sauna provided perfect relaxation after skiing. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it, and wish to come back some day.

Ample breakfast and dinner in the price, however the selection wasn't that wide. Altogether it's a charming hotel with a really nice staff. The wellnes section after a long skiing day was beyond our expectations.
The staff was incredible friendly and helpful. The foods were delicious.
We are planning to go back around summertime. The hotel and the location was perfect to us.
