Fusch am See is one of the many lakes in the Austrian...
Fusch am See is one of the many lakes in the Austrian Salzkammergut region. Beautiful nature, interesting scenery, there are many attractions and a lot of beautiful walks. Tourists can be visit nearby Salzburg or use a cog railway from St. Wolfgang upto Schaftberg and then walk down hill. The reward will be wonderful views of the alpine peaks and lakes.
We booked this on short notice and were pleasantly surprised. This adult only hotel is part of a bigger complex but well enough separated from the rest. Nice nature pool and a lot (!) of books available for free at the hotel. It is called a "Bibliotel" (mix of a library and a hotel). Very cool concept and a very wide array of books available (though about 80-90% is in German of course). Good breakfast.
Lovely and welcoming Austrian styled chalet overlooking a pristine lake with beautiful views, in a quiet small town close to Salzburg. The 1/2 board included delicious dinners that varied each evening with a lovely presentation. Breakfast was also plentiful with a variety of choises. The hotel was impeccably clean with a courteous & professional staff. Would highly recommend.
The apartment is in a very good location.
You have in a walking distance several hikes you can take which are suitable for children as well.
You have around many lakes and Salzburg as well in less than 30 minutes drive.
The apartment is well equipped for cooking.
The host was very nice and greeted us warmly.
We fully recommend this apartment and would like to come back!
- friendly and welcoming host.
- the apartment was clean with nice furniture and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and cutleries.
- the location is excellent as it’s closed to the centre of Salzburg (around 30 mins) and Hallstatt (50 mins) and much closer to Wolfgangsee.
- the pension has a private access to Fuschlsee.
I felt home away from home here! Fuschl am see village is so beautiful. Its a short beautiful walk to the town. Perfect location to explore Salzburg and remaining salzkammergut location.
So many beautiful walking routes to the lake.
This area(Fuschl am see, St gilgen, Wolfgang, atersee) is the most prettiest in the area
My 5days stay was great! Easy access to Salzburg, Wolfgangsee, Bad Ischl by bus 150.
Nice 3hour walk around the lake.
Little shop in the village, and a bakery with yummy stuff!
The AIR is amazingly clear!!!
Beautiful location, house, breakfast.
Petra, the host is super lovely! 😊
Great location almost on the lake shore not far from the village. Cozy rooms with a beautiful view. You can use the sauna (regular or infrared). It is really pet friendly, but don't forget to warn that you will be with a fluffy one.
Loved the view, and the apartment was spacious and very well equipped. The hosts were very nice and friendly. I loved staying there. The location is great too if you visit the Salzburg area and the lakes around it.
we had a large apartment with a wooden balcony on the shores of Fushl lake. The village was very quiet and placed in a fairytale context. it was a perfect starting point for touring the surrounding Salzburg region
I can highly recommend for everyone who want to have a great holiday. The hotel is located in a beautiful area between mountains at a shore of a wonderful lake. Such a peaceful place to rest.
Fantastic location, wonderful lake view from the balcony, very nice village, amazing landscapes. Excellent breakfast. Swimming pool and lake access just across the street.
Staff was very kind and welcoming, they made sure our needs were met for checking in. The room offered a very nice big balcony with at least partial view of the lake.
Breakfast was delicious, beautiful views from the room, lovely lakeside garden and a wonderful location. The owner communicated well and was friendly and helpful.
Simple and clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice view from the balcony. Max. 20 minutes walk to the center of Fuschl am See. Quiet location. Wifi was alright.
