A beautiful lakeside place. Not far from many sites and attractions in the lakes area (not more than an hour's drive). About 15 minutes drive from Bad Ischl.
The town closes very early in tbe evening.

I spent there a week of which 3 days were raining an 3 were clear. In the sunny days I had 3 excusions in the mountains and to Hallstatt. Ebensee is a very good starting point for different attractions (cable car lines, lake cruises, museums and other) which are availabe on spot or in the 15-45 minures car drive.
The town offers good relation between price and quality.
We loved the hotel, perfect place for a family. We had a suit - large room, kitchenette with everything needed, the room was cleaned every day.
The breakfast was good, there was a space with toys for kids in the breakfast room.
The hotel itself is located on a very good place with a large parking, there's a good playground next to the hotel. For those travelling by train the train stop is very close to the hotel.
Overall all the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Schlafmeile Traunsee as a family and we were pleasantly suprised of the scenic location of the little village Ebensee. The hotel was easy to find with the car and the check-in was also pretty easy. There was no staff at the reception but we could pick up our keys from the counter. The room was comfy and spacious for 3 persons with 2 showers in the room! The breakfast was very nice and everything was available and tasty. The staff was friendly!
Really nice B&B in a quiet area, but still very close to grocery shops and all. Hosts were friendly, and the room was large with a nice balcony, and the bed comfy. The location is great for people using public transportation, only 5 minutes walk from the Ebensee Landungsplatz railway station and the ferry harbour. Breakfast really amazing. You never see such a breakfast in smallish places like this. It had a lot of homemade stuff, like bread and hummus. Yum!
The loft was great. The view from the window and terrace is excellent.
You have to reckon with the fact that sometimes the staff needs to come to you, they have a store with bedding.
A tea kettle and mugs were missing, but they lent us everything at my request.
The hotel has its own free parking a little further down, but it was almost always occupied. There is a paid parking at 1 min walk next to the police station: 6 euro day and 1 euro night.
it's very close to train station and the lake boat stop, walking distance to cable car. This side of the lake is a good choice if you want to relax and enjoy the nature. Ebensee is charming with all the small bridges. The room was quite big and very clean, the staff welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Good breakfast and very good coffee, the breakfast room is quite nice with good view and natural light.
Property owner was ultra super kind with us.
We reached midnight, after 8 hrs long drive from Hungary to Ebensee.
She was not only answered our phone call but also with kindness in her voice gave us code for key to enter the apartment.
We liked the property, flawlessly super clean, well maintained.

Typical Austrian format of pension, good value for money. The rooms are nice and clean, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was good, but the owner was quite surprised about the request for tea instead of coffee. In general, good choice for a night or two.

a good hotel in a beautiful garden, with an indoor pool. The rooms lacks character but the attached restaurant is worth visiting ( But you need to be very patient !).
You are very close to Traunsee, go by car and visit the lake and chapel.

We stayed 3 nights in the apartment in Ebensee. Hildegard was very friendly and showed the apartment on arrival. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed.
Nice and clean hotel with top service drived by owner´s family which are always in place. Best of breakfast ever. Service is always able to help and give advice.
Ebensee is a great location, many things to do in the area in the summer, biking, hiking, swimming. The host is great, provided a lot of useful information.
The private Parkspot in Ebensee makes a difference, the Location is nice close to town. It is well styled and comfortable. Our We all liked the shower!!
