Beautiful view from our cozy chalet. The host had great communication & was helpful in suggesting day trips & spectacular hikes from the front door of the chalet.
Our chalet was the perfect base to visit Neuschwanstein, the Parknach Gorge, the Zugspitze & other lovely hikes that the host suggested.
The host provided a lovely meal breakfast every morning. Our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean.
We only regret we couldn’t stay longer. It is a tremendous accommodation! We loved it!!

I recommend Sportstüberl - the best restaurant one could imagine! Each week there's a concert of local brass-band, which is great. Also, Berwang is located at the level of 1342 m a.s.l, so it's an ideal start point for hiking, considering elevation gain. The views from Berwang are astonishing and everyone is very nice. There is also a perfect tourist information point at the heart of the village.
René and Esther were wonderful hosts. They took a real interest in our activities. They care about their guests. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with a good walk-in shower. It was quiet at night. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains. Berwang is a small town and you can walk everywhere. Although there was one flight of stairs to our room, the stairs were not steep and had a good handrail. It's an easy day trip to get to the Austrian side of Zugspitze gondola.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bären Appartements.
It is modest, but clean and had everything we needed (kitchen equipment, drying rack, sitting area, comfortable bed...)

Everything perfect. The place is amazing, especially for those who prefer calm. Good point for hiking, swimming (Plansee nearby), and other sports. We loved the true family atmosphere made by the owners, very well-equipped, super clean and comfortable apartments, and also the warm welcome prepared for our dog :-)
It was a beautiful lodge, with lots of ambiance and the nicest and most welcoming hosts you could ever imagine. The location was beautiful and quiet in Berwang, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. We had the best time! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!
Very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. The host couple were very friendly. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The brekfast was very good. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and the hotel was nicely decorated. The church bells did not ring between 10pm and 7am..
Great accommodation. I have been staying at this place for 2 days because of skiing and everything was perfect. I am thinking to visit this place with my wife and kid, because of location, great place, clean apartment, beautiful view, playground for kids.
The hotel has a true Austria-feel, right in the middle of the mountains. The hostess was friendly and witty. Breakfast was fine, just continental breakfast, but it was not bad. We were sent off with some bars of chocolate, which was a very nice gesture.

Wonderfully comfortable, clean, and bright apartment in a perfectly situated chalet, close to the center of the delightful village of Berwang and 30 seconds away from hiking paths. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Stunning location, very quiet n amazing view . The apartment was very clean and tidy. Got a lot of information from the owner about that place n site to visit. Definitely the best choice I made to stay in that location.
The apartment was exactly what was described about it. We had our own terrace, which had a really nice view. The hosts even asked if we wanted breakfast in the mornings. We had everything we needed in this apartment.
The apartment location is super, The apartment was neat- clean and equipped with all kitchen necessaries. Perfect for family with 3-4 children.
