Mount Cook Village
Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

Quite honestly one of the most well appointed rooms I have ever stayed in. The made to order breakfast was a great addition!

A communal dining area can be found on site. Beautiful view, good location and common kitchen is good as well
Burkes Pass
Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. Everything was new and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice to have a full size fridge. We drove 7k to Kimbell and had a wonderful dinner at the Creekside pub. It was fun taking the walking tour around Burkes pass the next morning. An interesting historical place.

New hostel, nicely designed, lovely common facilities, very clean. And of course the location is fantastic. Easy check in and out. Kitchen was well organized. There is a sauna which I briefly enjoyed. Nice ambience. Bunks have curtains and private light and power outlets.

The house is very modern and chic, plenty of space in the kitchen and living area. Perfect holiday home for a family getaway. Liked the art works, matching linens, the interior design, everything really. The host Sally was also very nice. Would definitely stay again for future visits.
The view from the private double room was breathtaking. Would highly recommend it if you'd like to wake up to a postcard view of the mountains and lake, without even getting out of bed. Likewise, the kitchen and dining room had a stunning lookout. Impressed with the friendly service and wide array of cooking facilities. Everything is well designed.
Stunning location - easy access to the whole Lake Tekapo village - very impressive architecture & design of apartments. Beware that its a very spread out resort & you mostly need to drive from reception to your apartment. Nice buffet breakfast.
A modern hotel with stylish interior design. The complimentary breakfast was very adequate and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The view of Lake Tekapo from our room was beautiful and the hotel is in a very convenient position. We look forward to staying at the Galaxy next time we stay in Tekapo.
