Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower. Allegra House is set high on the hill with a spectacular view of the harbour in Paihia. Brita and Heinz are wonderful hosts that really enjoy welcoming you into their home. The breakfast served on the terrace was exceptional. Our room and balcony view overlooking the Bay of Islands(Paihia) harbour was spectacular!! If visiting the area again we would stay at Allegra House!!

These north-facing apartments feature beautiful sea views looking out across the Bay of Islands. All units have heating and TV. All units are fully self-contained and include cooking facilities. Free WiFi is included. We expected, based on previous reviews, that the apartment would be exceptionally well-appointed, with a great view from the living and bedrooms and that the owners have left no stone unturned in creating and maintaining a superior lodging experience. Our expectations were shattered.. Abri is in a class of it's own! My recommendation to anyone considering a stay in Paihia-- look no further and book here! Additionally, we had a luggage issue prior to arrival that the owner took care of for us while we were on a tour. Words simply cannot do justice to Abri... it is simply the best.

Private indoor and outdoor seating is provided. Most have an iPod docking station, and some have private access into the sun-filled gardens. The cottage we stayed in was wonderful. Lionel and Rob friendly, gracious, and professional hosts. A really great experience and we were very impressed by the overall quality of their hospitality. Sad we couldn't stay longer. The bed in our cottage was very comfortable.
