The facilities and room amenities at this hotel are exactly as pictured and described. The rooms are designed in a traditional Japanese style and offer a true Japanese ryokan experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the tatami mats are very comfortable to lie on. The private onsen feels great, enjoying the view of the river and woods out the window, accompanied by the sound of birds chirping and an overwhelming feeling of relaxation. The public onsen on the fifth floor is also excellent, with complimentary use of massage chairs to provide total soothing for the experience. Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese and Western options, and while the flavors weren't as outstanding as expected, it was still good overall.
