Clean, comfortable, friendly hotel/hostel. Breakfast was excellent - lots of variety & quantity. Beds were comfortable. It was great having the option to eat dinner at the hotel as not all the local restaurants are open for dinner. Photos on the listing are accurate. So easy to catch the ferry from this location plus see the shrine, the old road & outpost from the 1680 era. A supermarket is across the road.

It’s tastefully designed with very welcoming staff. Dinner is optional with an additional cost and a log fire in the communal area is lit in the evenings- a lovely touch. Very clean with a big bathroom and bedroom area for two people. It’s also well located for local amenities and tourist attractions.

We had a nice stay at the resort, well located to take any bus to the sightseeing spots around. But also cozy to chill inside when the weather is not so good. Modern style, nice food offers from breakfast to dinner and very nice and helpful staff e.g. to organize a private onsen. Try the basken cheesecake!

Good location - it’s just a few minutes walk to take the pirate ship and to the famous Hakone Shrine. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket is just 2-3 minutes away. Though a little bit exhausted to walk up the slope with luggage when we first arrived the hotel.

Super comfy bed in the capsule room. Good bathroom and shower facilities. Lovely lounge area with an open fire and bar, where you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink in. Great location near the lake for sunset with Mount Fuji as a backdrop, just a 7 minute walk from the lake and main bus stop.

A traditional Japanese accommodation experience. The staff were so very friendly and the location was great! We had the Kaiseki dinner which was delicious, as was the breakfast! Too much food was consumed, but our attendees were so lovely and friendly, they love the ryokan so much and want you to have a great time. Wearing the traditional costume adds to the experience. We didn’t have an onsen, but soaked in the bath tub in our room instead. So grateful to have stayed.
