From the moment we arrived we had a really lovely stay. Ellie is a really lovely, warm and kind woman. The B&B is in a lovely location - only a few miles outside the town but in the heart of the countryside. It was so peaceful. It was lovely seeing the birdlife and seemingly deer are often seen in the orchard. I am a fusspot when it comes to food so I was mega impressed by the delicious breakfast - home bread and jams, delicious hot veggie breakfast. The place was also spotless. Ellie was such a fantastic host. If you are staying in Stratford Upon Avon, I would highly recommend Shakespeare's View.

Really lovely and stylish boutique hotel. One of the originals. Spacious room, elegant decorations, comfortable bed, Loved the heated floor in the bathroom! Very friendly staff and easy check-in - there is drop-off parking. Brilliant location within walking distance of the main Stratford attractions, including the theatre. Lots of pubs and cafes nearby if you don't want to pay hotel prices. I suspect we got a good winter break rate but I certainly book again if it was affordable.

Gorgeous room, period features but with all the mod cons you need. Really comfortable bed, lovely blackout curtains too. Big bath towels in the bathroom which is always a bonus. The check in was really smooth and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The pub and bar downstairs was lovely too, hands down the Townhouse was the nicest place we’ve been to in years.

The Townhouse ticks all the boxes for a perfect English Inn: a lovely bar, excellent food and friendly staff. In addition, it's a very comfortable place to stay with large rooms and very appealing interior design. It's an old building which has been well restored with lots of character and the decor is a stylish mix of modern and traditional.
