The Townhouse was fabulous. We were shown to a very spacious, comfortable room with everything carefully thought through. A lovely view of the park. We wanted for nothing. The huge bed was extremely comfortable, with gorgeous linens. The breakfast was delicious and a leisurely affair. It was a perfect start to the day. Thank you for looking after us so well. We will definitely be back.

Everything. The gorgeous room, the wonderful breakfast, the lovely host, David, who came out to greet us when we parked and helped with bags, the welcoming cream tea on arrival, the convenience for the theatre and concert hall, all the little extra touches. The Townhouse easily matches and in some cases surpasses the bigger 'luxury' hotels we've stayed in.

Host David has thought of every tiny detail to make the stay comfortable and unforgettable. From the welcome scones and jam in your room at arrival to the thoughtful choices of tea and coffee to the astonishing interior design he has put together. Be prepared for a host with the most as he entertains you with his acerbic wit at breakfast and will do everything he can to make your stay memorable

The interior design is traditional and attractive. Location is convenient and easily accessible. Restaurant is full of amazing aroma of Asian spices. Staff is friendly and helpful. But they have lost their smile. Room is specious and clean.

Location of the hotel is very central and place is easy to find. The whole interior design has been kept in old/ scottish style which is very nice. Our breakfast was included in the price and food was good quality.

Gorgeous location overlooking the park. The breakfast was incredible (the minted/honeyed fruit in particular) and the room even more fantastic. So many superlatives could be used to describe this hotel! I made quite a few mental notes of the decor as pointers for any future interior design choices I may need to make.
