An inn since the 15th century, this beautiful property offers boutique rooms and modern stable rooms with free Wi-Fi, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. It has a bar, library, and its Victorian walled garden is the largest in Canterbury.

The friendliness of the staff was just one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with a great range of choice between cooked and continental. The room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The shower is a proper walk-in shower and not over a bath, which for us was a much appreciated bonus. It was within easy walking distance to the city centre, Canterbury Cathedral and the bus terminal.

The hotel offers a full English breakfast combined with continental self-service buffet. The cocktail bar offers a range of Classic and Signature cocktails along with a selection of local beers, wines and spirits.

Stayed in Room 20, which was very comfortable and well layed out. The location is perfect for access to all of Canterbury. We have stayed in other hotels in the City, but by far the Falstaff has gained our No1 spot. We will definately be using now aas our go to hotel when we vist Canterbury.

Great furniture and interior design. Spacious living room space, newly furnished kitchen and the bed rooms were big enough for 3 couples. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we received clear instructions on using the keys and parking spaces, and some lovely arrival snacks to start our holiday.
