Boasting picturesque views of the English Channel and the North Sea, the charming Botany Bay Hotel enjoys an elevated position on the cliff tops in Kingsgate, near Broadstairs in Kent.

Botany Bay Hotel boasts a range of facilities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing break by the sea, whether you are visiting on business or leisure. Take advantage of the comfortable lounge bar, sample local cuisine in the sea view restaurant or simply unwind in your well equipped guestroom.

The hotel is amazing. The room size was perfect for my two children and I. One queen size bed and a single children's bed. The mattress was orthopaedic so it moulded around my body. The food service was exceptional. Steak, squid. Kids meal and drinks. Brought up to the room for a surcharge of £3, which I must add is worth it. Beautiful experience made that much better with Laura the concierge/waitress/receptionist/meet and greet.

Looking out to sea over Broadstairs’ Viking Bay, the Royal Albion has a magnificent location, on the seafront, yet also close to the heart of the town.

The Royal Albion was originally built in 1760 and Charles Dickens was a regular visitor. The famous Bleak House, Dickens’ home in Broadstairs, is within sight.

Beautifully located and an absolutely charming family room with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was exceptional, we will definitely be back.

What a fabulous, historic hotel. The staff is amazing and the food superb. The staff was like family, we hated to leave. I would encourage anyone who is interested in the area to consider this fine establishment. It was like staying in a private club.

We loved our stay in Ballarat house. It is beautifully designed, with a gorgeous garden, quiet, with all mod cons, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive, excellent communication. The house is located perfectly near the beaches, and the old town. We enjoyed every moment of our family holiday and would love to return as Amelia's guests in future. Thank you Amelia!

Lovely unique stay, reminds me Brighton with all the artwork and colours! Gorgeous 2 story room we stayed in with great design, nice and spacious even being ‘small’ and as a 6’3 individual it as still perfect (even with a shower head I didn’t have to duck under to use)

The room was amazing, with lovely interior design, comfy bed, lovely bathroom and great view! The breakfasts were super delicious! We tried most of them between us. The location was perfect, we felt like we had a vip section on the sea front! We could easily walk down to the beach and also escape to our lovely room when it got too busy! And then just people watch!
