It's very rare that I give a property 10/10 but this place deserves it! I absolutely loved everything about it. If you want to stay somewhere with history and character with modern finishes like A/C and hot water, then choose this place. I loved the cast iron door handles, four-poster beds, the colour scheme and tiles. The roof top and courtyard areas were a great place to relax. The museum info boards in English and Spanish were a unique addition and made me feel like I was staying in a truly special place. Breakfast was substantial. Also for those of you wondering whether Santo Domingo is safe, I was shocked at it being one of the safest places I've been in Latin America, specifically all of Zona Colonial and the Three Eyes National Park. (I've travelled a lot elsewhere in Latin America).

The interior design is wonderful, the colonial style, the plants on the patio, the litle pool and the rooms were stunning and held a warm personality! The best part was the staff! Every person we talked to was helpful, caring and warm! They went above and beyond to exceed our needs and expectations and they excelled! The breakfast is abundant, yummy and made with a love of love!
Excellent location (on a quiet alley overflowing with blossoms steps away from the main street), beautiful apartment, stylish interior designs, and a very hospitable host! Thank you Ferdinando! We really enjoyed our meals on the rooftop terrace with Laula's 🐕 company! We'll be back! 🤖
I loved the room. The design was stylish and the place was relatively clean. Cleaners came daily and staff were very friendly. The location is also good
The location was good. The room, although basic was certainly functional. The room was relatively big, the WIFI was excellent, shower good and the air conditioner worked well. Security is also excellent. The breakfast was simple, but quite acceptable. Lovely juice. For the price it is very good value and you can't expect everything to be 5 star. I'd certainly recommend the site for budget conscious travellers.
it was a beautiful property, well thought through design with a super comfy bed. gorgeous courtyard to sit outside, pool was peaceful and located on a pretty street.
Jerry the butler spoke perfect English and always greeted us with a smile.
