Very beautiful house with authentic furnishings and minimal and natural design elements. Peaceful and tranquil. The staff are very kind and welcoming. It's close to the beach so we walk there everyday and have lunch on the beach. It's a place to chill and rest. Local tuk tuks are around and easy to use. We arranged a taxi through the B&B to Mombasa train station and it went smoothly. Plus the house dog is adorable and very friendly. We can't think of anything we don't like and look forward to coming back soon.

We really enjoyed the tranquility of the place. As soon as you enter the gates of Saffron, you feel like you are entering a portal of peace and calmness. It is a very family-friendly place. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff friendly and attentive. There was a nice cultural program with live music and a fashion show during our stay.

Situated in Diani Beach, a few steps from Diani Beach, Searenity Beach Villa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Fantastic boutique hotel set in a tranquil part of Diani Beach. Modern and clean rooms, very spacious and we even had a beautiful sea view. We were on a full board plan and for foodies with an appetite, this was amazing. Great variety of food and the quality was fantastic. Lovely cocktails as well. The hotel is literally steps away from the sea and in a private compound, so felt safe at all times, means you don't get hassled by any people trying to sell you stuff whilst relaxing. Even then, this part of Diani Beach is definitely more peaceful than further south where there are more large resorts (so the sellers tend to focus their efforts there). Finally I must mention the excellent service from everyone here. Jas and Selma welcomed us to the hotel very warmly and were on hand to assist with any of our queries throughout our stay. Whenever we wanted to arrange to do any activities eg water sports, massage, etc - this could be done via Mercy at reception! And not to forget all the friendly and fun restaurant staff (special shoutout to Jason). Thank you all again!

Asha staff was super nice, always smiling and trying to anticipate all our needs. We have been totally spoiled! Small piece of paradise in Kenya!

The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything needed. The option of food throughout the day was appreciated.

The idea of using the door card to access entry was good. I felt safe and secure. The general cleanliness of the facility and the rooms was very impressive. The staff were kind and respectful .

Drexel House was very welcoming and its location in Karen is great - an oasis of calm in a busy city. As soon as you enter the gates, the noise of the city seems far away, and you feel relaxed and peaceful. The gardens are wonderful and we enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast. The breakfast options were great, and the team was very helpful in preparing snacks for us when we arrived late at night. Jeremy is super helpful, proactive and friendly, and made our stay very comfortable. We left a personal item behind in our room, and he was very solicitous in helping us retrieve it. We will definitely come back when we are next in Nairobi.
