Everything well maintained and service went the extra mile with us being late. The next day we could stay as long as we wanted because there was no other booking. Short cab ride from the main city (~10€). Recommended!

Casa do Norte is a cozy traditional house surrounded by a beautiful garden with views of the sea and surrounding countryside. This was our second stay at the house, and it was just as pleasant and relaxing as the first. Laurinda is a wonderful host – friendly, responsive, and a great ambassador for this beautiful island.

A great position as a starting point in order to explore the island, Ocean /fort view, next to the hiking trails, a short walk to the marine, supermarket, bus stop. Swimming pool with a lovely view, friendly, very helpful & professional staff, included breakfast.
great location (but you need a car if you want to go out and see the island), absolutely friendly people (THANK YOU, Sandra !), great and stylish interior design (be aware that it's loft-like, though), incredibly quiet area, parking all in one place away from the houses so no come and go by car, very good equipped with everything needed

Very well located to visit the island. Beautiful rural house with plenty of space and a peaceful environment. Nice welcome with fruit and other goodies. Absolutely recommended.
The estate has history and the rooms/ flats are very spacious and cosy. Paula (the host) is super welcoming and nice lady, answered all our questions and gave us recommendations. The place is a balance between being in the middle of the island but at the same time feels remote and quiet. Totally recommend.
Quiet place, not a huge hotel, colonial arquitetura, tastefully refurbished. Aircon. Great location.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. The town was lovely with great supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The hiking on the island amazing, recommended! The Youth Hostel was great, clean, friendly staff and good position.
Very spacious and comfortable house for 2 people it was very well equipped and the host left some coffee, bread, jam and cookies to try from the area, it was a very nice detail. Owner was also very flexible with check in which we appreciated. Bathroom was big as well as bedroom. In terms of location is a bit more in the country side which we enjoyed as it was more quiet.
it was in a peaceful location fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and the house had everything you need a definite home from home.
