Private, clean and big room with private bathroom and lots of privacy. Secure parking within steps and beautiful authentic hosts. It’s clear the owners take pride in their belongings and hosting, they were available for any and all questions and even showed us items around the house we wanted to know more about. Beautiful eating area with a gorgeous view and even offered us fresh sweet ride pudding and banana bread! We burnt our dinner one evening, and Paulinha offered us part of her own dinner. Central area which allowed us to return to areas around the island we wanted more time at and walking distance to grocery store as well. Don’t miss out on this place!!!

The nearest airport is João Paulo II Airport, 6 km from Pink House Azores. We loved everything about our stay at The Pink House - it has been done to a lovely standard and the space was perfect for us. Emmanuel was a great host and was good with communication before and during our stay. Sonia was also great during our stay - very friendly when delivering our lovely breakfast each morning and keeping our space in order. It was also a delight to meet Sting and Rose - gorgeous dog and cat!

We recommend the place for everybody looking for a local vibe and beautiful surroundings (routes for walks and hikes are available, and other towns like Furnas easy reachable within a short ride). Spacious and clean rooms with wonderful mountains view. Delicious breakfast with local bread, jams and fruits. All staff were very helpful and made us feel just like at home.

The Mount Pico volcano is 14 km from the property, while Gruta das Torres lava cave is 16 km away. Madalena is 11 km away and has a pier offering connections to other islands of the Azores. The place is located by the ocean. It is fully equipped with all necessary stuff, it even has with waffle maker and two types of toaster. the host is very helpful and nice person. He offered us a transfer to the airport free of charge. I wish we could stay here more nights. Maybe next time. Highly recommend.
