Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away. Exceeded all our expectations. Very lovely room, super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. We couldn't recommend this place more. Super nice and quiet surroundings, great for a nice afternoon walk to just take in the beauty of the Isle.

You can play table tennis at the country house, and the area is popular for snorkelling and cycling. If you would like to discover the area, fishing, canoeing and hiking are possible in the surroundings. The house is so spacious, beds comfy, fantastic kitchen and brilliant games room, we are a family of six and the space was ideal. Communication great, well looked after and should be respected. Loved it.

Featuring a DVD player, the spacious country house has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a toaster, a living room with a seating area and a dining area, 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a bath. Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the sea views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Everything. The location was perfect, right across from the water, and within walking distance to Rothesay. The house itself is roomy and has everything you could want. The grounds are spacious and Carolynn and John encourage you to play on the front lawn with the various garden games they provide in the shed next to the house. They are very kind and provide little touches such as milk and biscuits, shampoo and conditioner and even disposable barbecues.

Featuring a large garden overlooking Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps, Mansefield House is a holiday home situated in Arrochar. Guests can enjoy the patio area and barbecue. The country house features free WiFi throughout the property and free private parking is available onsite. the house is amazing, very cozy, you got everything you need! Fiona is very nice!

Strathlachlan Lodge, Luxury Country House with Hot tub & Sauna is ideally situated to explore the area, with Argyll Forest Park around 45 minutes’ drive. Many picturesque lochs, including Loch Lomond, are less than 1 hour away. The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.

Warm welcome, rooms were fantastic, everything spotless, amazing location, , free wifi, nothing was to much trouble for our hosts Janice and crawford and the breakfast was the best we have ever had, would highly recommend anyone looking for a fantastic bed and breakfast give this one a try i would say it gets 10 out of 10

Craigard House offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant with an extensive locally-sourced menu. Very helpful staff, delicious meals in restaurant, nice walk to town with gorgeous view of bay.
