Really lovely place. Super peaceful and lots of birds and lizards. The owners are great at answering questions and were generous about offering support when I got sick. As a bonus, very near the Amazon Rescue Centre, as well as a small local market and a range of restaurants. I stayed in a maloka with a very well equipped kitchen that was a joy to use.

At first we were hesitant to book here because of the location, but we are so happy we did! After spending 2 weeks in the jungle, this place was perfect to relax. If you need some quiet in the chias of Iquitos, this place is worth the 20 min Tuk Tuk ride. The rooms were very cosy and nicely decorated. The living room space was a great to have… felt like a luxury to be able to lie on a sofa! The kitchen Is well equipped and there is a supermarket close by so you can cook the meals you like.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was clean and has everything you need, the view is truly breathtaking and the location is in a very nice and quiet area with amazing restaurants close by. The staff was very helpful and always friendly, Miguel even showed me the closest supermarket and never hesitated to answer any of our questions or lend a helping hand. I’d be very happy to come back here and recommend this place from my heart! Thanks for everything :)

The property was a little off the beaten track but still not far from the centre. So it was nice and quiet. The room was very clean and well presented. The air con was a very welcome addition. The bed was comfy with crisp sheets. The tv had shows in English. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast terrace is open air and has a nice breeze. The chefs freshly cook your eggs and the coffee is not bad. Great value for money.

This place is highly underrated. 4 Stars are not enough to describe the beauty of this hotel as well as the outstanding staff and the overall experience there. I stayed in other 3 star hotels in Iquitos and they don't even play in the same league as this hotel. Did not try the Doubletree yet, but I am sure, even 5 stars don't play in this league. This is a 100 year old luxurious mansion which lets you live like a king rather than a visitor. Thank you Casa Morey!
