The location is ideal if you have a car. It's just outside Lucca (10min) in a very peaceful and beautiful green setting right next to a gorgeous old Tuscan villa, which the offered us a free tour through! Our room was really big, with beautiful views. Breakfast with home made fresh cakes, fresh fruits and plenty more, so very nice. Restaurant recommendation of a nice typical and fare priced dinner was very useful.

The location was excellent although a bit difficult to find at first. House was very clean, comfortable and met our needs. Close to restaurants, groceriies, tourist sites, etc. Hosts were very helpful on the phone and neighbor (care taker?) was available when power was lost due to a storm in the area.

There's also a small supermarket nearby and a couple of bars and eateries. Giovanna is a great host, really easy to get hold of and looks after you if you need it - for the deposit, make sure you have cash! I completely forgot about this.
