The location was fantastic for us. It provided a great base so we could travel and explore Tuscany. The property and it's grounds were beautiful and the use of the pool was very welcoming on hot days. Staff here were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Each morning, breakfast was served on the terrace along with evening meals. Evening drinks and excellent suppers were throughly enjoyed with the views over the hills surrounding Lucca and beyond. The evening menu changed daily, the homemade food was always delicious and served with a good wine list. We would highly recommend this property to stay!

I had been camping in the Apuane when the weather turned. Casa le Sorelline was an incredibly welcome retreat. Very homely, comfortable and warm.
Well equipped kitchen (could use some sharp knives though 😉). Comfortable bed. Everything I could have wished for AND I had the whole place to myself.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Breakfast was excellent and really very personal and different. Lots of lovely things to try, all made especially for us. The hotel has lots of character, with beautiful rooms and furnishings. The location was so central and wonderful and yet really quiet and peaceful once inside the bedrooms. Staff were so great. I would love to come back.

The location was very good, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants on your doorstep, The apartment was very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely comfortable stay, rooms were spacious and very clean, the owner was in contact during our stay to see if we had everything we needed. Welcome gifts were a lovely touch too! Will definitely return next year!

Wonderful location right up in the hills. The grounds of the Hotel are also so peaceful and lovely. You can look across the hills in total peace and quiet.
The manager is passionate about the history and told us about the blessed Nun who loved her time there and that Puccini had visited, he was born in Lucca.
Breakfast was good we had tomatoes, mozzarella and olive oil - fresh bread - boiled egg - chocolate muesli - toast. Coffee machines with a good choice as well.
Amazing location in a typical Tuscany countryside. The house is an old mansion, very well kept surrounded by luxurious garden and with beautiful view. It seems like being in a movie.
It has a living/dining with facilities for cooking.
The host was very friendly and nice and came to open the door handing the keys to us.
