Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away.

Exceeded all our expectations. Very lovely room, super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. We couldn't recommend this place more. Super nice and quiet surroundings, great for a nice afternoon walk to just take in the beauty of the Isle.

    The staff were the highlight. We visited for our honeymoon and we were greeted by a room upgrade and cosy fireside drams. Breakfast was extravagant, plenty to eat and all very tasty. Dinner was lovely, made extra special by the birthday cake they brought out for me! The restaurant was cosy, peaceful, lovely. The location is also excellent, right in the heart of the island.

    Guest house manager was very friendly and he accommodated anything for us. The location was exceptional. So peaceful. The best sleep I ever had. I would definitely come back again with my family next time!

    Breakfast was special, served directly by the chef. The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful countryside. It is difficult to access by bus, but in return you can enjoy the typical Scottish natural beauty.

    Handy as it was on the main road but still quiet. Lovely garden to sit out in and enjoy a drink and a read a book before dinner. Staff were welcoming and friendly at all times

    Skerrols House is a real luxury haven in Paradise. It is so beautifully presented and spacious. The rooms are massive and so comfortable. The Living Room and Snug are a real touch of class. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and the Dining Room is also gorgeous. Tomacz and Karolina are in a league of their own - we’ve travelled all over the world and never known a welcome like it. The hospitality, and special touches are phenomenal. Genuinely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.
