Quim and Evi were of genuine kindness, very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. We do not speak any Spanish, so communicating was a bit difficult, but we always managed to get somehow understood and the service was great.The breakfast was amazing, containing fresh quality products only. It would be useful to put English or French translations of the names of the products on a list, though, as we did not always know what we were eating ;-) but that was not a problem, rather an exciting culinary discovery. Spa facilities looked really nice but would have necessitated some time for heating. I would have loved to have a dip into to the pool, but it was too cold which is a pity. But it is true we did our booking in the last minute, and for February, so I can understand this. For spring/summer season, I think it woud be great if your spa facilities could be included in the room price instead of costing extra - that would be good value for money for your clients. We absolutely loved Can Cargol. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts, who speak some English and French, are lovely and provided us with everything we needed. Breakfast was . We particularly enjoyed the copious supply of fresh eggs from the resident hens. Be aware that the main living space is outside on the fully-roofed terrace, where there's a very fine sofa and a magnificent view. You can move the table inside to eat, and you can sit and watch TV in the main bedroom, but we didn't need to do either of those things. Parking is easy, just outside the house. The village, where you'll find supermarkets, bars and restaurants, is a few minutes drive or about half an hours' walk away.
