The farm stay also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. Amazing house, with beautiful bedrooms. Really peaceful spot. With gorgeous views of the river and the nature. Outside pool really well located and a cool inside pool. The owners are amazing and talented storytellers and hosts. The dinner was spectacular, the wine, the meat, all amazing.

So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Bruno, the host, was very helpful and friendly, and was very supportive but not intrusive. he was excellent.
